This so much... This is the greatest time to be alive as an American(That's why MAGA makes no sense). That is fact. However, we shouldn't settle for what we have now. We should constantly fight for equal rights for everyone. We shouldn't allow the racism that still exists just because people aren't being put in internment camps or being blasted by water hoses. You get the picture. Black men are on guard, from everyone, even our own. I can't tell you how many times I've had to look at people from my own race with suspicion and keep on guard and on edge. I'm black, so I obviously wasn't taught to hate my own kind, but after experiencing the way my own people behave, it's dishonest to say that people fear black men just because of racism.

This isn't to say that it's all our fault that people are racist toward us, but there is no doubt self destructive elements in our community that need to be stopped.
