The Misadventures of George and Crew

[The Mockingjay]

She had actually thought of intervening... this man was clearly in no condition to fight, but she didn't want to hurt his male ego. She would give it a moment, if it turned ugly, maybe she'd ride her adrenaline into battle... be it stupidly or not.

[Tsuna...]

George quickly scratched his thumb with his left hook as the ape came running towards him off of the momentum given to him by Sharrkan. His left arm came up, swinging for George's head and at the last second he ducked under it scooting to the ape's left and jumping backwards. The ape turned after almost losing his balance, facing George. "You're dead, Small." the Ape spat his words.
"Nope, sorry Big. I'm still alive and kickin'" George leaped forward narrowly dodging what appeared to be a large stone on the way passed. He plunged a fist right in the middle of his chest and it felt like hitting a brick wall. Then when George looked again, he had hit stone. The ape's chest had turned to stone, upon seeing this George's eye brow furrowed. His injuries didn't let him react fast enough to the two large stone clamps that came down on him from behind. The ape's arms were now crushing George against his chest. Must be a fruit, George thought. "Dammit..." George roared in pain.

[Never]

Sharrkan watches carefully, ready to step in still has his sword with the apple on the end of it. "Be careful!" He takes a bit out of the apple.

[The Mockingjay]

Watching on thrpugh tiny gaps between her fingers, the girl winces at every near miss and makes a rather lovely 'eep' noise on every connected blow. She lives the fight as if it were her own and gets rather emotinally attatched to the man clearly deemed to be the underdog. Although sje stops herself just as she's about to shout

"Go little man!"

Feeling that to be both inappropriate and probably rather patronising.

[Tsuna...]

George continued to roar in pain but then abruptly stopped, looked at the man, winked and said. "Only jokin'" George's smile and the rest of his body turned to flames. The flames separated into two, releasing him from the stone ape's grip. They then form back into one man sized inferno just a short ways away from the stone ape. George then returns from the flames in his fighting position. "Stone man, nice to meet you. I'm the fire man." George shouted at the man in a mocking voice. The ape suddenly transformed his entire body into a stone version of himself and stomped towards George. Closer and closer, George was trying to time it perfectly, with just enough heat and just enough pressure. As the ape threw his left stone arm at George's right side, he blocked it with a wince and then locked the ape's arm into his side with his own arm. He did the same with the ape's right arm but the wince showed even more on his face that time because of his ribs. George looked up at the Ape who was fruitlessly struggling against his tight grip. "This is the part where I make a pun about fire, do me a favour..." George jumps until both of their heads are level and he is looking right at him. "...think of one for me."

The ape gave George a puzzled look and then George slammed his fiery forehead into the ape's, keeping it there as the flames and the cracks spread throughout his body. Once George noticed the ape returning to his human form because of the cracks, he let go and jumped away falling, landing on his back with a very light head.

Sharrkan wraps his left arm around the girl and cheers with his raised right hand, sword in grip and half eaten apple stuck on the end.

"Yeah!! go George!!"

He watches the fight happen, still cheering him on and when the stone man goes back to human form again and George lands on his back, Sharrkan lets go f the girl and slashes his sword downwards - the apple slipping from the blade and flying at the Ape man, thwacking him in the head with enough force to put him on his side.

[The Mockingjay]

The fight, the powers, it all bought forth a funny feeling in her stomach. She knew what was within her, because everyone had it, and everyones power helps with whatever they do. But this felt different, she felt far more than she had before... could she really have... untapped potential?

She brushed the thought off and swallowed the feelings down, continuing to watch the events unfold before her eyes.

[Tsuna...]

The last thoughts going through the Ape's head before he was hit in the head with the apple were: "Has fruit... can't swim..." As he hit the ground the Ape sunk into it and became one with the stone in the ground. Seconds later the area of ground where George was lying raised and launched him like a catapult through the air and into the water, far from the shallow end. Unable to swim at all he slowly drowns, floating to the sea floor.

A hand quickly grabs his and with ease carries him to the top of the water and back onto land.

Sharrkan curses and runs towards the direction George had been flung, his feet hit the sand and he rolled, running down the beach. He stopped, seeing a man with George, carrying him to shore and sighs with relief.

[The Mockingjay]

There goes my job.
------------------------------------
About to pounce into action, she notices the man being saved and sighs...

"Perhaps I just wasn't born for excitement"

She says under her breath as she begins to walk away from the pair, she looks back over her shoulder just once before making her way home.

(Don't, stay. I'm not ending the fight that easily U_U)

The stone ape raises from the ground right in front of her. He looks down at her and grunts. "Who you wanted to win?"

The stone ape raises from the ground right in front of her. He looks down at her and grunts. "Who you wanted to win?"

The answer was obvious, and came to her instantly. She looked up at the... Thing. And with a steely gaze, she opened her mouth.

"Peace."

She then stepped to the left and turn her body, gesturing for him to go past. She seemed so calm, her face dead serious, but it was just the adrenaline speaking. Her heart was pounding and she was mentally shaking all over.

"Peace...?" The ape replied dumbfounded. "Peace boring." He wrapped his giant hands around her thin feminine throat and raised her up into the air, choking her.

It was an unfortunate situation... Given her preference she would have been far more comfortable in the water, where she makes her living. The mysterious man emerging from the deep oceans had bought this fate upon her... And there was nothing she could do, no power she could use and no species to rely upon. All she can really do is struggle and flick a glance to the men from before... A glance of begging a glance of mercy... A glance of hope.

Once george is safely on the shore the main quickly looks up and sees the woman in danger and without thinking rushes over to the ape. "Release her." Is all that is said as he looks at the ape man without fear..... without any emotion at all.

Sharrkan leaps up from the Ape's left and slashes at the Giant's arm so that the Grip is released from the Girl's throat, "Fight me Monkey Man!"

Sharrkan leaps up from the Ape's left and slashes at the Giant's arm so that the Grip is released from the Girl's throat, "Fight me Monkey Man!"

He releases her and lets her fall to the ground not because of the sword but because of: "You more fun. You stole my apple. You have to die."

[The Mockingjay]

Sharrkan leaps up from the Ape's left and slashes at the Giant's arm so that the Grip is released from the Girl's throat, "Fight me Monkey Man!"

As she released from the mans grip, she falls harshly on her backside, a nasty case of whiplash hitting her neck. She stays on the ground, not through pain or a physical inability to get up, but through fear. She was not comfortable in this situation and would fake anything if it kept her from further harm. It was also easier to catch her breath without having to worry about the strength in her body or legs.

Slowly, as she gathered her breath and regained full consciousness she began to crawl... Drag herself down to the waters edge, allowing herself to sit in the shallows of the ocean, feeling calm and comforted by the small brush of the waves.

[Promethius]

Looks at the current situation and begins to analyze. George is unconscious on the shore, Sharrkan is about to fight with civilians around, there is a wounded female in between both of them. This is going to get ugly before it gets pretty.
