The hype and feats of Minato and Hiruzen

disagree with alot of that im afraid.
Firstly, the talking between Hiruzen and Iruka about Hiruzen once being the strongest. The talk suggests that hes scolding Iruka for saying "HE USED TO BE THE STRONGEST" not that he still is.
Secondly, in the second link, Hiruzen says there is no one alive in the Leaf Village at this time that can stand up to him now. Anko said only if the fourth was still alive. yes Minato could of and probably would of defeated him. Dont forget however Orochimaru was still an immensley powerful shinobi, who was considered for being 4th Hokage. It doesn't mean hes far more powerful however.
Also Hiruzen may of defeated the 1st and 2nd Hokage, but I think the general consensus is that Orochimarus impure world res, wasnt fully utilizing there strengths, as we've seen from how powerful Kabutos summons were, who claimed his skillwith it surpasses Oros.

Several characters have been hyped as the strongest ever, I just see when people say that, that they mean the persons a top top tier ninja.

Tobi said he was worthy of being the 4th Hokage, but Tobi while difficult to kill, can still be hit. Danzos henchmen destroyed his arm, Itachi's ameratsu implant in Sasuke hit him... Konan forced him to use Izangi, and he still took damamge if i remember correctly.

Not being disrespectful, i have no doubt you put alot of work into this, but I cant help but feel you got the wrong end of the stick about stuff characters have said

Then he brought up raikages comment, not knowing that his comment means; out of the time he lived and became the best, no one would surpass him afterward. As in ninjas before him are not included because they are dead, out of prime, or are better then him. Otherwise he would say no ninja ever would defeat him or he was the best that has ever lived. And even that would be bullshit since raikage doesn't know about ever ninja in there prime.

So this thread is a big fail, and is only to make minato seem better then what he really is..

minato has not surpassed prime hiruzen, he had potential too but he died young
