The hype and feats of Minato and Hiruzen

Do you really think thats his limit? He did that when he was old. If he did that when hes like 98, how strong is he truly in his prime? Think about that. How do you compare a legend in his thirties to a has been strongest kage?

I think that Hiruzen in his prime was one of the most powerful shinobi, however when he was old he wasnt that powerful.

exactly that's the part I agree with and didn't see on the thread post prime hiruzen would most likely beat minato because minato never reached his prime (he was like 27 when he died):shrug: hiruzen prime should beat his master because the student always surpasses his master

He wouldnt have died. How would he seal Kurama, the biggest and the baddest tailed beast, who could create a tailed beast bomb many times his own size when all of his chakra is taken away into a new born infant? Its physically impossible.

he wasnt 98. he was around his 30s when the sannin were little kids. jiraiya was around 50 when he died. so that makes sarutobi 70. and yes i expect it because we've seen never to underestimate old people. see chiyo, danzo, onoki. onoki, whos EVEN OLDER than sarutobi! and yet onoki fought muu evenly, helped take out 2nd mizukage and stopped two meteors and was STILL ALIVE.

And dude it was a joke where Iruka used past tense. Alot of people still make the mistake today. it was a joke man. And Anko wanted teh 4th to be there because he would prolly still be in his thirties, almost forty, and battle oro. What do you expect? The 4th is strong, but he wouldve been stronger if he had not left so early.

excuse me but onoki is in his 80s/90s and performed greater feats than hiruzen and jiraiya combined and jiraiya in his 50s was able to fight pain really well.

A 70 yeaar old hokage was the strongest. So that doesnt matter much. And when you said hiruzen didnt want to fight minato. well of course he wouldnt want to! A sevendy year old hokage fightning agaisnt the 3, probably most strongest Kages of all time? What do you expect? This is the one that interest me. Minato need his summon to hold the tailed beast down so he can gather chakra. Its never been confirmed if Minato could use sage mode but it is the only way i can think of for him to gather chakra so fast, i.e. Naruto does it as well

You know what bugs me the most is That people keep bringing that hashirama + Tobirama vs Hiruzen battle in stating Old hiruzen > both of them. That's utter nonsense!
An edo tensei summon is just as strong as the information the user has. All oro used Tobirama for were a couple of B rank jutsus. That's it. Freakin B rank ! Oro didn't know much about the two.If he did it would have been a 5 second Battle.

here hiruzen fears fighting minato so badly that he tries to stop him being summoned. but its proof hashirama has long been surpassed because hiruzen blew his leg off without too much trouble despite hashirama being a mindless killing machine. if it had been a real battle, no doubt hashi would be reluctant to battle against his own student.

as for hiruzen being miserable compared to his prime, i dont think that was ever said. pathetic? yes.

that would include himself, Orochimaru, hanzo and itachi who jiraiya also knew about.

now some of you are saying "well raikage didnt see hashirama fight". tobi did. and he still said minato was worthy of his hype. jiraiya saw the third in his prime yet he said 4th was unparalleled, suggesting jiraiya himself wouldnt want to fight against minato.

one thing i found interesting was he said it wasnt possible to seal all of kyuubi chakra. yet mito uzumaki did it. what does that say about her powers?

of all the people we see fight on panel and get extraordinary hype, minatos unmatched. but granted, not alot of these people talking about him knew about the likes of nagato, tobi and danzos powers since they were secretive.
and theres some hype thats just not believable like fukasaku saying sm naruto had surpassed minato. wut? no he hasn't you dumbass frog.

many get called invincible (tobi, itachi, pain) but imo minato beats them all in raw power and intellect.
