Hmmm. I think this means trouble. But things are really simple in reality, only we choose to complicate it all. First things first. I don't think I'm wrong in assuming that 'you would not want to hurt your girlfriends feelings by telling her you don't like her friend "that much"'. To be clear, the way the world is today with all it's suffering and all the ongoing madness, it would be absurd to expect you to like everything and everyone. I don't think there should actually be any problem in you stating your true feelings concerning your gf's friend/-s. She asked and I don't think she would appreciate a lie, and there's nothing wrong as I said about not liking someone, even I have such people. Being her close friend or not, that one actually choose to stay with someone no matter how much one may dislikes the friends of one's gf shows the strength of that bond one has with one's gf. Actually I think you'd do better to think about what you really want to say and whether you want to proceed knowing the risks involved, though I doubt they are big, and also I don't think there will be any bigger consequences since it was she who asked. Who knows, it is not impossible for you to start to like her friend as well(in the friendly way). Though I don't know in what way you actually 'don't like her that much', how come it is that way?
