The only motive Tobi took Madara's name was to impose fear over those who ruled over the old shinobi system. It's not like Obito was being controlled... but it was Obito himself toying with them.

Because there is nothing else to show. With all due respect this whole confusion is yours and yours alone. Madara being an idea is exactly like the will of fire being the power to never give up (Jiraya, Konohamaru Sarutobi etc etc all shared it..)..

How do we know its not the same type of bind Hashirama gave Sasuke vs Madara ?

If Orochimaru is made almost of Hashirama cells there is a strong possibility he could break edo tensei control.

That's not a good deduction , the rest of your post implies that your deduction is correct , but you can't be sure it's correct.

actually it is a good deduction from what the manga has told us. the manga made a point to say that the senju and uzumaki are related. they have similar traits and they both are able to have ashura transmigrate into them. there relation to one another was the reason the senju and uzumaki were so close. so we can easily say that the uzumaki just broke off from the senju or the senju could have broken off from the uzumaki. the effect is the same either way, they are blood related.

You may be talking about Hashirama's DNA.
