This entire thread rests on one assumption. That the ones used against Madara's CT were the size of Sasuke's PS. What the OP isn't taking into consideration is perspective. Perspective messes up with perception, and this image clearly is portraying the TBBRS as being closer to the "camera" if you will.

What supports this? Simple. We see the TBBRS when they're close to Naruto when activated in the same page.

The actual size of the TBBRS is only somewhat bigger than Naruto's height if at all. Ransenshurikens can expand mid flight, but they don't have the characteristic sphere, and only becomes a blast, unlike what happened to Madara's CTs.

It's actually not a blast, but rather, a disintegration sphere like Obito's TSB expansion. The proof for this is that the meteors were falling into them. If it was an explosion, and it contained enough force to obliterate them completely, then they'd be blown away, but they were not shown to. Therefore, this is, like FRS, a sphere that attack everything touching it. Therefore, Naruto was not using the expansion method of RS. This makes it a perspective issue.

In the second pic, if you look very closely near Kurama's ear, you can see a small blur that's probably Naruto. To be larger than Kurama's hand, means that it's much bigger than Naruto, making it much bigger than the CT TBBRS.
Naruto's so small, he's not even visible when he preps TBBRS.
