Carry on with their lives. It's the work of government to work on but society needs to not get baited and resort to hate because A.) It's exactly what these people want, B.) Its' usually directed at the wrong countries C.) Is the biggest 'fuck you' to the terrorist bastards.

I don't see what that solves. If the government has shown no interest in fixing it, even going as far as to renaming the refugees as John or Steve, what would trusting them bring?

The government can't do its job because the people don't know any better. If you ever try to deal with it realistically, you get called an islamophobe for grouping the refugees together.
