nope... dont try to invent events that i havent told you to achieve, as like this one, they may be completely incorrect for the jutsu your trying to perform....

try again, think of it more as a firemans hose than cutting a tree in half....

Sorry for the long ass wait, somewhat busy and i forgot.

Using my water chakra i mould it in the nearby stream which i then use to bring it around me. I use my chakra to control the water and i keep the chakra flow and i cause the water to surround me and protect me.

That's not how the jutsu works at all.
This was used by Yamato in a Shippuden episode. The main purpose of this jutsu is to disperse smoke and also distract the opponent.
Now, proceed to lift your hand towards my clone. Focus your Suiton Chakra into it and then release it a short and sharp stream of water. Pressure is everything. Remember to aim.

I raise my hand at your clone and I send suiton chakra to the same hand. THen I release the suiton chakra as a small yet powerful jet of water which i then increase the pressure so that the jet becomes more powerful. I aim this jet at your clones torso to maximise damage.

It has a minimal area of attack.
However, its main power lies somewhere else. Do you know what?

Concerning the jutsu, sorry sensei I do not truly know but i would say that its used for precision attacks and even though it has minimal area its power lies in its power when it does hit.
