Concerning ability comparisons, Rinnegan has more power and versatility than Tenseigan.

-Rinnegan gives control over magnetic forces via Deva Path (Nagato's ability) and gravitational forces via Chibaku Tensei. The moon was created through the latter. Tenseigan could move the moon towards earth. They're equal in this regard.

-Tenseigan and Rinnegan both give you Rikudo Chakra.

-Tenseigan can only absorb Chakra, whereas Rinnegan gives you Ninjutsu absorption additionally.

-Tenseigan summons a Golem but Rinnegan summons Mazo and Jubi, which both are far stronger.

And lastly, Naruto only needed KCM to beat Toneri, but a mindless Nagato nearly killed KCM Naruto and Killer Bee at the same time with using only bit of his strength. So it's clear as day that Rinnegan is stronger than Tenseigan and every Rinnegan wielder curb-stomps the filler character called Toneri.

I've a question, Isn't the chibaku tensei which sage created and made into the Moon, a six paths Chibaku tensei feat? Rather than a base rinnegan feat?

The only difference is Rikudo CT seals the victim's Chakra, as shown with Kaguya's Rinne-Sharingan. Databook lists both technique as one.

I’ll wait until we get some clarification on what the Tenseigan can do before deciding for myself. The rinnegan seems more versatile so far, id like to see a tenseigan user that isn’t an ootsutsuki fight, or maybe one that’s had his tenseigan for awhile. I wouldn’t even mind a detailed data book prof on it, unless there is and i missed it

I don't think it's fair to make this comparison, since we've barely seen the power of the Tenseigan.

Do people really believe that what we saw in the movie is all that the Tenseigan has to offer?

It was the first time Toneri even had that power and you expect him to use its full capabilities? Plus he was all alone for most of his life. There's no way that dude could have a lot of combat experience.

It's like Kaguya. She had all that power, but she lacked the experience to used to its fullest potential in combat, that's why it felt like Madara would've been a bigger threat than her as the final villain, even when Kaguya's power was greater.

But, it is unfair to discount the overall potential of the tenseigan based off of one showing from an inexperienced user. Much less one who was using borrowed power from stolen eyes. That said, Toneri’s tenseigan could create a Hamura construct that went toe-to-toe with full Kurama, split the entire moon in half with a single beam, exert a gravitational pull strong enough to move the moon, and manifest a chakra mode with the gudoudama. From an unbiased perspective, honestly, the tenseigan truly is an amazing eye. One that has yet to be fully explored. I’m a rinnegan fan for sure, but not ashamed to admit when another eye is just as good, if not better.

It must be possible with Asura path mechanical armoury, but I guess the chances are slim, looking at the fact, Asura doesn't have a feat of reproducing an entirely damaged organ.

your ABC math works only if power is linear. in rock paper scissors your conclusion fails.

chakra natures are a big rock paper scissors circle, and the basis of ninjitsu in the narutoverse. character invulnerabilities and susceptibilities are common plot lines. Linear comparisons may give you a rule of thumb, but application in the field will often fail when additional head to head factors demand reckoning.

Naruto the last movie. The Tenseigan is a a dojutsu awoken by Hamura it's an upgrade to the Byakugan. The only other Hyuga who's eyes achieved the Tenseigan are Hanabi Hime's pure eyes (as called in the movie).

The Boruto manga seems disjoint with the anime and movie, unlike Naruto.
Now can we say the anime series is canon? since it's totally different from the manga.

Also, some episodes of Boruto anime overlaps with "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage Chapters"

Some parts of the anime are canon for definite with a little filler here and there. Others are questionable and maybe filler or not(Boruto's random portrayal as an example).

Episode 8 and 9 are canon (Hyuga episodes) kishi was personally involved with them. The Nue arc is considered canon in general. The mist arc is also canon and referenced in the manga. The gaiden arc is canon minus the odd filler here and there. The others parts are questionable in being canon.
