I have no problem with that. I'm monogamous anyway, I think cheating is atrocious and I honor my parents, though I'm having problems with my dad. What I have a problem with is the notion that God will punish me if I don't please him the way he wants. I have a problem with God's tyrant ways.

the way I see the reasoning behind the punishment is; You were created for a purpose - To worship and obey god. If you don't fulfill your purpose, you'll be punished for it.

On a side note, I find it interesting that they say God created us in his image yet when confronted with issues like Homosexuality and Living ones life as one would want you are rebuked with "that is not what God intended or wants."

Acknowledging a higher power but not following any certain religion seems the most reasonable choice, IMO.

I'm a muslim, so I believe that Allah is the ruler of the universe y'know? The concept of God being a master and the creation being his servants isn't exclusive to islam either.

Anyways, I'm right or wrong, I'm certain for a fact that there is an intelligent designer out there, because all of these astounding creations can't all just be one big accident

I don't believe in God, but I find it stupid when people state there isn't one, or several. You have no way of knowing. And sadly, if you actually did know and told us, we wouldn't believe you. And if you find out after death, then there's still no way of telling us. One of the world's greatest mysteries.
