I watched that entire episode again, to try and get some "inspiration", or at least see how the technique was performed and all I got was a 6 second clip... Biggest. Waste. Of. My. Time. Ever!! =D
Please. Don't apologize for having a life... A basehead like me doesn't understand the concept of "having a life"... XD
One/three advantages:
How you would counter it: The usual to be honest. A defensive Elemental Jutsu would cause harm to the enemy, while protecting the user. Like Lightning Style: Raging Thunder that creates a field around the user that burns the enemy on contact. A Kenjutsu attack would simply lob an arm or a leg off, unless the enemy is wearing special armor or Leg Weights or something. Finally, a Taijutsu attack that has similar or better effects would render the attack useless, in this case, you have to analyze the enemies move and discern the best Taijutsu skill to use depending on the enemies move.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
I take a few steps back, to give myself a good start on the technique. Once I believe I am prepared I drop to the ground, ready to leap into action. I kick off with as much force as I can and shift my center of gravity backwards, performing a back flip. I land at the ground before your clone, still crouched slightly, I bring my fist up with a great deal of force, knocking your clone into the air. From there I bring my feet together and leap into the air, matching your clones speed and soaring through the air with your clone. I start by targeting key points on your clone, a powerful right handed punch to the clones right shoulder, then a swift left punch the stomach, I perform a wide sweeping kick with my right leg and target your clones right side, finally, I use my left leg to kick your clones legs, this causes your clone to spin in the air.
Once your clone is parallel to the ground and facing away from me I deliver a swift kick to the base of your clones spine and send your clone hurtling towards the ground with a great deal of force. Using the momentum of that last kick, I boost myself into the air, and dive straight down at your clone, delivering one final punch to your clones spinal column.
In summary, your clone was knocked into the air, dropped and drop kicked. It's right shoulder and right side should be severely damaged, it's stomach would be traumatized and it's spine should be severely damaged, if not broken... That was just for a reference, nothing more.

One/three advantages:
- Despite being rather straightforward and simple, it gives the user plenty of room to be creative with their attacks.
- Even though the Jutsu is used at close range, it implies that the user can be as far as medium range by stating the user performs a flip to reach the opponent. Using a flip to reach the opponent at close range would be a simple waste of energy and time.
- The user is susceptible to the enemies counter since the Jutsu requires them to be close. If the enemy uses a defensive Jutsu like Chidori Nagashi, the user would be left open. Or if the enemy uses Kenjutsu to counterattack, the user of this jutsu would presumably lose an arm or a leg.
