where did i say it had no drawbacks? name me one technique that is better and reasons y its better and ill agree but until this technique can both defend and attack i wont agree

Well, since we are talking about "most useful" I would rather have Gaara's Sand Control. Now you are probably going to bleat "Susanoo is more powerful it has better defence, it is has better offense" - ok I will give you the benefit on the doubt, I WILL say it is more powerful. But since you are talking about "more useful" I'm sticking to Gaara's Sand Control.

I will give the reasons of the flaw of the Susanoo

Eyes - Susannoo has great strain on your eyes and can take a great amount of chakra from the User. Also let me add it takes TWO Eyes to activate the Susanoo, now are your term of being "most useful" if both your eyes are strained while using this Ability, then I'm sorry I refuse to call it the "most useful" especially when the User has a huge drawback.

Like I said you can call it "the most powerful" but if strains two of eyes, hurts your vision as we have seen from Sasuke even though he had a incomplete form. Now you cannot relentlessly attack with the Susanoo without those liminations. Is the Susanooo effective and powerful? Yes. Does it hurt the User? Yes as well.

Lets look into another perspective. If Sasuke, Madara, Itachi were in combat battling against thousands of Shinobi and the Susanoo was activated all the time and lets say the battle was going, but the Suaanoo was only in defense mode, by the time they attack, it will impair their vision. They have already lost a ton of Chakra from using the Susanoo. When the Susanoo is on offense mode, they will lose more chakra and it will hurt their eyes. Now this means you cannot attack relentlessy.

Now I will stop and ask you, are you trying talk about most powerful or most useful. To ME, just because something is the most powerful doesn't mean I necessary have it, without considering the drawbacks and to ME I refuse to call the Susanoo the best jutsu or the "most useful" best offense/defense because I simply don't like the disadvantages and I see them more damaging to have rather than have the "ultimate defense"

I'd rather have the Sand Control for various reasons for it's defense or offense. I will explain more, depending on your reply, because frankly I cannot be fu*ked to say more.

For me, I'd have to say Izanagi is my favorite technique. I just think the way it functions is cool >.>

Scratch that, Tobi's S/T tech is pretty awesome...All of it combined into one technique...Intangibility(Might as well be considered Invincibility), High speed movement, and everything else....Badass.

Gaara's sand is by far better maybe not as strong but far better in terms of attack and defence. For one gaara's sand is fast and mobile and can shield himself and anyone he wants and block most attacks. Susanoo is a great technique but not for fighting many opponents considering the strain it puts on your body and eyes. Now gaara's sand is more suited for large amounts of opponents while susanoo is mainly good for a 1 on 1 fight. Think about it madara is an edo he doesnt feel the pain from using the susanoo which means he can prob move around alot easier considering he doesnt feel the strain on his eyes and body so it doesnt hinder his movement.

good post. madara isnt even using the full susano'o because this is just a game to him. he could have killed off the kages a long time ago. and if what they say about that bijuu hawk spit is true, then why is suigetsu still alive? remember he took the blast point blank from the eight tails. susano'o is clearly the superior jutsu.

you're a retard... didn't you see Jugo punch the top half of Suigetsu's body clean off leaving just the his legs before he crashed into the wall and discovered the hidden room? Suigetsu is part of the same clan as the second Mizukage, that's why they can shoot water drop from their fingers and literally melt their whole body into liquid form, thus making someone with enough chakra to use at least partially the "HYDRATION TECHNIQUE",
literally invulnerable (can't be cut, can't be stabbed, can't be wounded)...
ESPECIALLY when there is a water source near the user of the tech- or even better right under his feet.. .. ..just like when Taka was fighting Killer B they were on a big asssss LAKE; and as he used his TBB, Suigetsu survived thanks to his Hydration tech, NOT because he took a blast point blank from it which through your logic that makes Susanoo the better technique... ... that sounds like the stupidest reasoning i've ever heard... He took it "point blank" (which he didn't at all really) because he jumped out of the way and was able to liquify and merge into the lake before being pulverized by the blast.

I rather have minato space time teleportation jutsu. I could touch susasno, let go of the the kunai in my hand. Teleport Susasno 100 miles away and tele back and kill you with the kunai I just let go while still grocery shopping and making dinner.

Cant believe how idiotic some Uchia fans can be....
I'm an itachi fan but there's a reason why itachi didn't spam sussano the way sasuke did...
BECAUSE IT HAS WAY TOO MANY DRAWBACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For one it makes you blind, secondly it drains your chakra dramatically, and lastly it tears your body apart. Sure its strong and has great defense... But how can it be the most useful when using the jutsu itself means destroying your own body.

Great Defense? Oh, yeah.
Better then any jutsu? What? No!

It's far from impenetrable, and it has a great deal of drawbacks. Now, something like Planetary Devastation or "F this Village" Shinra Tensei, that could probably bust the hell out of Susano. Sure though, you can't compare much to the Deva paths ability. So other ones? Well, Rasenshuriken would probably bust it up. Let see now, We've never seen if Kakashi's Kamui can penetrate Susano (I remember Kakashi spamming it against Sasuke so, if I am forgetting something, forgive me.)

Susano is strong but not the strongest jutsu in existence.

Susano can be melt look at what the mizukage did to sasuke when she was fighting him in uncompleted susano mode. I think she can also do the same in full susano mode
