( Shu-rute: Sanpo Jinrui ⋔ Shinka ) Surreal Palm: Humanity's Hymn ⋔ Evolution
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Allows the divergence of chaos through the continuous rebirth of the self. Charging chakra through the body, the practitioner is able to empower his/her motions, moving up to mid-range from the point of casting, by running, jumping or rolling. Within the illusion, the user will appear to continuously rebirth, separated from each reincarnation, which appear more and more eccentric in appearance and size. The first avatar will look exactly like the practitioner before the start of the technique, carrying every damage and restraints, while the following reincarnations may appear much different, and free. The practitioner as enough freedom to give each reincarnation as much detail as wished, creating copies of himself or others, or merely creating deformed humanoids or various colors. With the exception of the transitions between each rebirth, every avatar follows the exact same movement and position of the practitioner, neither can move independently.

*The practitioner can connect this basic evasion technique with a different one, but casting any form of genjutsu will disrupt this one*
*Can only be used once every three turns*

This technique was inspired by illustration made by Rudolph Zallinger "The March of Progress". It is a much more versatile and stronger Taijutsu dodge/movement, and was initially constructed as such. It has a very similar "leave the theatre while the movie is rolling" as Apple, but here you keep a first "evolution" dummy that keeps feeling the effects of the Genjutsu. Storywise, it is an amazing illusion to perfom, since you can costumize everything about the evolutions.

You could, for instances, leaving behind a dummy and explode forward as if you just made a clone, or you could turn into your summon animal and make it seem like you actually summoned one. You can come forward as a ghost or like a shinigami. As an Uchiha, I could make my body stay the same, and then have an evolution come out of me looking like my Kuchisake Onna. The possibilities are endless.

Just have to remember that every time you create a new evolution, the previous one will be stuck in place, in the same shape as you were before, with the exception of the first dummy that keeps feeling the efects of the original illusion. And remember that every evolution follows the same motions as your real body do.

So, imagine a genjutsu is cast on me that ties me up with ropes. First I jump forward, and the illusion makes it seem as if a clone of me is jumping out of my initial body's mouth. I then hit the floor, and a second image of me is stuck on the floor, as my real body turns sideways, looking like a spirit that rolls on the air. Then the spirits keeps in place, rolled up, as another clone completes the movement and claps.
Your opponent will see you clapping, with a spirit ball in mid air behind you, another clone ducked on the floor behind it, and a clone of your tied in ropes with a huge gaping mouth.

You could also use this jutsu to create multiple black copies of you, as you run around. You can then double back behind the wall of stactic clones, and basically be unseen by your opponent. Understand this?
Oof I can think of some nice combos with this. No questions here

( Shu-rute: Ittenbari Ubuge ⋔ Nou ) Surreal Palm: Perishing Persistence ⋔ Memory
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20 ( +5 per turn active )
Damage Points: 40
Description: Allows the softening of the chaos to collapse one's notions of a time, space and a fixed cosmic order and achieve balance. The form consists of up to 5 physical motions which in turn soften and bend the world around, inside the illusion. Everything melts down and liquefies, and the practitioner guides the abstract goo of the fabrics of reality through the physical motions. Easiest way to comprehend this illusion is to think of the affected objects, which can be anything, including the whole realm of the illusion itself as a slimy substance that, when immobile, looks exactly as the original ( the ground, a tree, the sky, the user, the target ) but, when moved, behaves like slime, even if it retains the same colors and textures. With this softened reality, the user is able to wrap the target in tight gooey hands, impossibly stretch oneself or make one's limbs like rubber, to make one's physical attacks more unpredictable, etc. After the five motions, which can be a combination physical strikes ( hence the damage ) and binding illusionary wraps, the user is free to perform a finisher where the practitioner will place him/herself behind the opponent, back to back and, holding the neck and the legs, clutch the opponent backwards, breaking their back with a lever motion, disrupting the genjutsu, or simply move on to other attacks, leaving behind a constricted opponent within an illusion.

*The user may divide the 5 motions between multiple turns, spending chakra for each and counting as a move towards the jutsu count. This can't be done indefinately, and, thus, must span, at max, 3 turns.*
*Non-Finisher usages leave the target binded for 2 turns before the genjutsu ends. This does not require extra chakra, it's merely lingering genjutsu*
*Each physical strike disrupts the illusion for a fraction of a second, unless it's after the 5 motions, where any fitting physical strike will disrupt the genjutsu as normal*
*Can only be used 4 times per battle*

This one is based on Salvadore Dali's "Persistence of Memory". Okay, so now we start to alter the genjutsu that our opponent casts on us. You can either bend the fabric of the jutsu or any construct within the jutsu itself. You can also perform this technique alone, without being a counter, where you manipulate the world around you to do the same thing.

You can bend objects, or cast a rubbery/slimmy world and wrangle your opponent with it. It is a really cool effect, and you can keep hitting your opponent if you want.

Gotta love the artistic influcences of these techniques, I have no questions here though. Am sure I can find a definitive usage out of it haha.

( Shu-rute: Kohon Issaishujou ⋔ Hentai ) Surreal Palm: Creature's Compendium ⋔ Metamorphosis
Rank: B-A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20-30 ( +5 per turn )
Damage Points: 40-60
Description: Allows the chaos of one’s mind to find solace in the heart of a wild beast. The practitioner will charge towards the target, moving erratically, before launching a series of 7 combined physical attacks. In these freestyle motions, the user is meant to physically mimic an animal, and acquire it’s mannerisms, similar to Shaolin Kung Fu. As the practitioner moves, the illusion shifts the body, turning, as the user's body appears to metamorph into that of animals, which will rip through any surrounding illusion ( of the same rank ). The illusionary animal(s) will be part of one body, the practitioners, and while the whole body can be as eclectic as Surrealism, both the illusionary avatar and the physical body will juxtapose, not necessarily equally, as the practitioner can be upright while the avatar is hunched or on all fours, but in the same axis.. Each physical strike that connects with the target will shift and shatter the illusion for a moment, until the final strike that releases it completely.
Alternatively, the user can simply metamorph a part of the body, the one primarily being used, into parts of animals, instead of turning into a complete animal. This is considered a weaker technique, B ranked ( 20 chakra, 40 damage points ), and the juxtaposition is much more noticeable, as only the metamorphed limbs will have an illusionary camouflage.

*The user may divide the 7 motions between multiple turns, spending chakra for each and counting as a move towards the jutsu count, but cannot span more than 3 turns. If done in this manner, there is a 2 turn cool down before re-initiating*
*The user is able to wield weapons, hiding them within the illusion*
*Requires a one turn cool down before re-use*
*A Rank, which creates whole metamorphosis, can only be used 4 times*
*B Rank, which creates part-metamorphosis, can only be used 6 times*

This one is inspired in Kafka's "Metamorphosis" which is Surreal Art in book form. Talk to me about this technique.

Right so the technique starts by casting one’s self into the chaos as one normally does. Utilizing; the user mimics the movements of animals, creating a sporadic style of movement. It makes the animals of shaolin kung fu so the tiger like leaps, monkeys swaying and the likes. So what occurs is that by using the movement of the body, the user molds their illusionary avatar to turning into a sort of chimera of animal parts or into complete animals as wel. This allows them to essentially rip through the illusion (of the same rank). They user also performs 7 bodily strikes which can be divided between turns, costing chakra to sustain but also a move slot in order to do so. However they cannot sustain it for more than three turns. A simple B rank version of this technique can be used as well, only turning one body part into the animal limb. This one being a bit more obvious compared to before.

That's basically it. It also gives you a lot of freedom in what you can do with the illusion, since you can make a claw and shred an onject inside an ilusion, you can cut through ropes, you can maul through darkness, etc.
You can also hide handseals and held object or other objects near your body by just making your illusionary body different, either fluffy, or bigger, or slimier, so as to have an image that hides your actual body. Cool?

( Shuru-te: Hariade ⋔ Hokori ) Surreal Palm: Infinite Incisions ⋔ Shattered
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30 ( +5 per turn active )
Damage Points: 60
Description: Possibilitates the shattering of the chaotic continuum, and weaves its piercing debris onto a wholesome harmony. The form consists of up to 5 physical motions with a 6th as a finisher, which in turn shatter and pulverize the world around, inside the illusion. Everything breaks down and fragments, and the practitioner guides the weaving dust of the shrapnel of reality through the physical motions. Easiest way to comprehend this illusion is to think of the affected objects, which can be anything, including the whole realm of the illusion itself as a crystallized substance that, when immobile, looks exactly as the original ( the ground, a tree, the sky, the user, the target ) but, when affected, shatters and crashes like glass, even if it retains the same colors and textures, which seemingly shiver and sparkle like multiple diamonds. With this crunched reality, the user is able to wrap the target with blankets of shattered illusions, throw clouds of piercing dust and splintered blades of reality, or even continuously shatter and reform one's body and limbs to make one's physical attacks more unpredictable, etc. After the six motions, the user is free to perform a finisher where the practitioner will place both hands, or even both knees besides the opponent's face and neck and then quickly snap the head around, shattering the neck and spine, disrupting the genjutsu, or simply move on to other attacks, leaving behind a constricted opponent within an illusion.

Inspired by Christopher Nolan's "Inception", the scene where she breaks the glass. (Actually I don't remember the inspiration ahah ). Talk to me about this one

Right so using the chaos in one’s mind and in the opponent; the experience a shattering world. The user’s movements guide the illusion, molding it into a shattered realm. As they do, they continuously shatter more and more, allowing for an array of shattering illusions such as breaking the ground into the a cluster of shattered dust, or even shattering the one’s self to make the movements much more unpredictable. Using the shattering, you can pretty much mask your real body as well I’m assuming, allowing for you to strike in hidden ways they wouldn’t expect to see coming lol. The user finally finishes with a neck snapping finisher, breaking the illusion and their spine and neck. However one can simply move onto a another technique instead if desired of course. One thing I’d like to comment in is you can also shatter the opponents body, which I assume causes them to become restrained in movement based on the line “eaving behind a constricted opponent within an illusion.”

Yes indeed. You can kick their leg and shatter it like glass. They don't become restrained, it's more like they feel like it actually happened, so they may fall or drop on their knees. Unless you shatter everything about them, in that case yeah. You could also shatter something in front of them and send the shrapnel flying into their eyes and cut them, or something like that.

( Shuru-te: Slavin ⋔ Enkei ) Surreal Palm: Astounding Alternative ⋔ Perspective
Spoiler
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 60
Description: Induces the severance of the strings of reality, detaching the caster from the laws of nature. The user focuses chakra onto the user's arms, crossing them together. The chakra will be extremely concentrated raw chakra, creating a visibly black coating over the user's skin. After crossing one's arms, which allows for a strong block that plays in equal terms with elemental ninjutsu, the user will spread their arms out, and cause the world to appear to bend in but a second, creating an endlessly stretching tunnel with the ground circling over their heads. Inside the Perspective, gravity is fully controlled by user, and, with every motion, gravity can individually affect every entity within the illusion, such so that one can be pulled towards the centre of the tunnel, pressed onto the ground or even feel the entire tunnel rotate or move at great speed. This is meant to overwhelm the opponent, leaving them open to the perfectly balance, in reality, caster, as he deals a series of 5 attacks, mostly consistent of upper torso motions, to factor in the blackened coating of concentrated raw chakra, if it wasn't neutralized in the beginning of this technique, creating a very interesting effect of seeing the world's perspective and gravity changing with every motion the user performs and every attack the user deals out. Every strike onto the opponent will shatter the the illusion temporarily, turning gravity and perspective back to normal for a split second, before another motion tilts the world once again, until the fifth attack breaks the illusion permanently.

*Can only be used 2 times*
*Breaking the coating does not break the illusion, though overpowering it and continuing onto the user will *
*Requires 3 turns in between usages*
*Can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu above S rank in the same and following turn*

This one is actually inspired by Inception and also Interstellar. I think I saw Interstellar and was immediately inspired to make this awe inspiring genjutsu. Please dissect away!

Alright; so the caster will create a coating of chakra into to their body after crossing their arms; being black in coloration. As they do, the weave the illusionary world to create a seemingly endless tunnel with the ground over head. They control the gravity of the world; allowing them to command it as they see fit with themselves. They control the perception of gravity within, allowing them to push, pull, increase or decrease the speed of gravity all to their own whim. This leaves them wide open to the caster’s desire, in which they may deal a combination of 5 motions, ideally upper torso based attacks. Each strike breaks the world for a mere moment before shifting back to the chaos once more. It completely shatters as the last strike is dealt course as well. Provides a reasonable defense against an opponent’s technique too as well, however I noticed it has 60 dmg. Does this mean towards the illusion/physical strikes only or does it only defend up to A rank with the coating too?

I most likely typed the damage wrong, it should actually be 80 as a normal S rank. I don't know what happens in term of blocking ninjutsu and damaging techniques, since it says only 60, but in terms of Genjutsu it behaves as any S rank. As for what type of damage, it's both physical and spiritual I believe.

Spoiler
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: Allows the parting of the world to plunge the chaos into oblivion. The user will stretch out both arms, and, with them, part the whole world in half, along with any illusion ( of the same rank ), plunging both into the void of the world between both halves of the physical realm. In this void, the targets won't be able to move, as they briefly behold all the wonders of a foreign and marvelous galaxy, filled with countless constellations and astronomical phenomenons, along side cosmical behemoths, oceanic-like creatures floating in the void as if it were a black sea, before the practitioner slaps both hands again, crushing the targets between both halves of the now tilted world, wedged between physical realm and void, passing out from the mental damage. The void lasts but mere seconds, but it's wonders are engraved in the target's memories. While the illusion can target multiple people, within range, each will see the world part exactly in the middle, in a straight line between themselves and the practitioner.
Once the user slaps both hands together, closing both halves, a blast of chakra is released, up to short range, all around or in a single direction. This chakra blast, S rank in strength, can be composed of raw or acquire a basic elemental nature from the user.

Ah I remember this from my little spat vs L in the genjutsu realm fight. So what basically happens is, the user casts themselves and the opponent into rather, beautiful chaos. As they part the world; various creatures from the cosmos swim though it, be it mythical or not, as they remain idle. Once part, the caster causes the world to shatter, pulling both parts together and causing it to come crashing down onto one another. These motions are describe initially as parting the world by moving one’s hands in order to do so, then by clapping them back together. This also causes an omnidirectional or linear burst of chakra to be release, being able to be composed of basic raw chakra or an elemental nature. This allowing one to attack with both elemental and spiritual damage onto the opponent.

@Lili-Chwan Why'd you forget me

It's cool, don't worry. That's mostly how I remember it, and it's very important to know those rules, as you'll mostly be using and abusing it with the techniques of Surreal Palm

( Shu-rute: Sai Ningen ⋔ Ringo ) Surreal Palm: Sapiens's Scions ⋔ Apple
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Allows oneself to detach their head onto the chaos that confounds the senses. When targeted by sense altering illusions, such as blindness, deafness, or the such, the user will move his/her torso around, lowering or rising one's stance. As it happens, the head will seemingly detach from the rest of the body, while the headless body will simply appear completely black, hair falling to the sides but a complete see-through hole where the face should be. The face will stay behind as a dummy target for the opponent's illusion, with a large apple in front of it, while multiple tiny apples will appear all around the target in a grid. The black body can move behind the tiny apples, almost like multiple eyes whenever the see-through hole aligns just right. This is all a distraction, as the physical body of the practitioner isn't bound to the black avatar, and can move, unseen, independently.

*The practitioner can dodge incoming threats, as the motions are powered by chakra, but can't move from the same axis, behind the tiny apple grid, nor exit short range from the point of casting*
*The practitioner can connect this basic evasion technique with a different one, but casting any form of genjutsu will disrupt this one*
*Can only be used twice every three turns*

Apple is based on the painting by Magritte "The Son of Man". This is the basic and most powerful counter of Surreal Palm. Regardless of the Genjutsu, this technique allows the illusion to happen inside the head of dummy, while extracting your spiritual and physical body. It's like turning any genjutsu your opponent cast into a movie, you leave the theatre but the movie keeps rolling.

From your opponent point of view, he sees you dettach your head (which keeps floating in the same spot, unmoving), then move as a black avatar behind a wall of floating green apples. Everytime you actually move in Real time, all he sees is a black avatar moving. That can either be your actual body, or you can make the black avatar move differently from you (thus you'll be invisible to your opponent).

From your point of view, whatever illusion you were experiencing seems to shift upwards, like you're peeking under a rug. You'll then see the real world as it actually is, while at the same time you see the other side of the green apple wall (because you're still under the influence of Apple's Illusion as it is cast on both you and your opponent). As for the black avatar, you can either see yourself as the black avatar, or move independently from him and see the black avatar sort of like a clone moving besides you. If you ever move your real body in such a manner that your head goes on the same spot as your dettached head, you'll see your opponent's illusion once again, since it is still there.

Due to the low level of this Genjutsu, it is unable to actually release/stop your opponent's genjutsu. But due to the nature of Apple, it is pretty much useless anyway.

Also, because this is a Taijutsu as well, you can use this to dodge anything a D rank technique would dodge, like ninjutsu or weapons. You can basically do D rank flips, jumps, rolls, etc and you can also attack someone with a D rank power behind it.

Questions?
Got it, very useful technique.
Don't have any questions for now - but I do like the idea behind this technique (despite its low rank).

I remember this technique from one of your fights and visually imagined it as a evolutionary transition between forms and it has a lot of potential, especially if you have a way with words (like you always did *insert applaud*).
I don't have any questions on this.

This one is pretty nice, manipulating the world, kind of like Inception.
Turn a pointy thing into a bendy one, or swirl it around. Lots of uses. Can literally change the height, size, etc of the environment.

Cool?
Ah, Kafka. Just become a beasty :) And use your otherworldly appendages to rip apart an illusion, doesn't have to be a normal creature does it? Just want to mimic some Lovecraftian stuff from Bloodborne.

Ah, the scene where everything shatters - this has a lot of close range uses as well, I see you said to Ian that you can shatter the opponent's legs, etc. Pretty bad ass, and also allows for more uses as the shattered stuff can be directed as well. The shattered pieces can be used to hide true motions as well. Especially if combined with other arms/legs. These are all visually insane.

Best scene in Interstellar tbh, creating a wormhole like effect and being able to manipulate where gravity pulls. It messes with their perspective a lot, since when hit, it'll reset and shift back. Super disorienting. This can be done like 5 times, so it gives a lot of freedom into when and how the strikes are landed, shifted as well as manipulated to move into a direction you want them to.

Updated, it's 80 now.

I remember this technique, I sicced those creatures on @Mirai LMAO
The foe gets restricted by the beautiful chaos (look at those amazing cosmic behemoths!) and are crushed between the two halves of the tilted world, literally between the physical and void - very crazy stuff. I like the release of raw chakra blast once slammed into each other.
