This one's a little strange o-o and I didn't expect you to reply that quickly, but thank you for doing so ^^

I also have a question about this technique. How far above the opponent does the cloud spawn? And is that height constant while the technique is active?

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Can track the target.
  • 2. Can be used in combination with Fire techniques to deal extra damage.
  • 3. Depending on how high the technique spawns, it cannot be dispersed unless one goes through a considerable amount of effort.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. The target will know that it is oil once they are hit by the small drops of liquid.
  • 2. Other than preparing for a combination attack with a Katon technique, it serves no other purpose.
  • 3. I'd imagine this technique requires concentration to allow it to follow the opponent, so using this technique can become a potential distraction for you as well.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique in a situation where my opponent would not be able to counter the oncoming Katon attack I will follow up with.

How you would counter it:

I would counter this technique by using the Peacock Whirlwind Formation jutsu to rid myself of any oil on my body.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Performing the Ram → Snake → Tiger hand seals, I send my Suiton chakra into the air above my opponent, forming a black mist that wafts about like a cloud over my target's head. Dispersing it, a rain of oil comes down on the body of my target, drenching him.

I just felt like replying, or giving a few replies. xD

Yes the height is constant as it moves around, and roughly about five or six meters above.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Release: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Dog → Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

This technique is pretty much to make a water source if their isn't one. Can be used for training, or for battle whatever you want with water this gives it.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Creates a water source.
  • 2. Requires no previous water source to use.
  • 3. Can be used for multiple purposes.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. The basin can only be expanded (and I assume maintained?) if the user constantly sends chakra in.
  • 2. The opponent is free to manipulate this water source as well.
  • 3.
How you would use it in battle:

I'd use this technique to create a water source in battle when there isn't one so that I can quickly start using Water techniques without having to go through lots of trouble to create one.

How you would counter it:

To counter this technique, using the Earth Release: Antlion Technique would drain the water source completely. I could also use the Water source created for my own purposes as well.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Performing the Boar → Dog → Ram seals, I send my Suiton chakra into the air and create a large wave of water, resulting in a large mass of water being made.

I had a hard time following the logic process on performing the technique, so that was what I came up with. Sorry it wasn't that great...

Well once the water reaches the surface it stays there. It doesn't go away. The technique should only really be used if there is no water source around, or no possible way of creating one through other ways. Hope that helped.

(Suiton: Mizu Tsurudan) - Water Release: Water Tendril Bullets
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate one of their water clones to dissolve back to water and turn into four pointed projectiles that shoot at the target.
Note: Must create a water clone before hand.

Create a water clone then use your chakra to change it's form back into water from that manipulate the chakra into projectiles that are sharp then send them towards your target.

Thanks Nathan.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Requires no seals.
  • 2. Even if it doesn't hit, you'll still have a decent water source.
  • 3. This is a more lethal projectile technique that's water, so it's a better offensive option than most other projectile techniques of it's rank and lower.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Requires a pre-made Water Clone specifically, not just any water source.
  • 2. It's easy to evade and/or counter because it's easy to see coming.
  • 3.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique mainly as a diversion, or to take out multiple smaller targets.

How you would counter it:

A wall technique would do the trick, since using a wall to defend would be the most efficient way of countering it. If I was in the air, I would use a projectile based technique of Doton or Suiton.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I manipulate one of my pre-existing Water Clones into losing it's form and becoming a mass of water once again. Then, I manipulate it further so that the mass of water transforms into 4 different projectiles, that I shape into the forms of spikes. I then silently command them to shoot forth at my target, causing stab wounds.

(Suiton: Mizu Yashiken no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Palm Blade Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15

Description: The user will first strike their target with couple of punches and kicks them lifting the target into the air and the user will then concentrate their chakra into their palm and then swinging their arm in a arc they release chakra creating a cresent blade of water that strike the target.

Simple technique, punch and kick. So they end up in the air, then gather up your water chakra in either one of your arms and then proceed to swing said arm releasing a arc shape blade of water towards your target.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Requires no seals.
  • 2. Is good in CQC situations.
  • 3. Doesn't require any seals to perform the water blade.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. You have to be close to your opponent.
  • 2. The opponent can easily stop you from using this simply by staying out of range.
  • 3. The opponent can escape being hit by the water blade while he is being thrown up into the air.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique in CQC situations mainly, but nothing else really.

How you would counter it:

I would counter this technique by being out of range, so that the opponent cannot get an opportunity to use it. Another way to counter this technique is by using Wind Stream Technique to move through the air to avoid the water blade.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Running to my opponent, I ball my right hand into a fist and punch them in the gut. I then form my left hand into a fist as well, and punch them in the stomach once again. Then I kick them in the chest, sending them flying upwards by a couple of metres. Summoning my Suiton chakra into my right arm, I swing it at my opponent and release my Water chakra at the same time, creating a large blade of water that strikes the opponent in midair.

( Suiton: Mizu Hashira Suiryoku no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.

First of all, this technique can either be used on yourself, or your target. What you will do is send your water chakra into the earth below and from that you will send it over to your target, and then it will form into water. Pushing them up into the air, so that leaves them open for an attack, and removes their balance, or you can use it on yourself to dodge a technique.

Lmfao, your username xD

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Requires no seals, so it can be done without much delay, be it to dodge/defend or to attack the opponent.
  • 2. Along with the fact that there are no seals required to use this, and that the technique happens directly under the opponent's position, there is no realy way to counter this unless they can see the chakra via a Dojutsu or they move around the field a lot.
  • 3. This technique is lethal when used at any range if you combine it with a Raiton technique.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. If the opponent moves too quickly or too much, using this technique can become almost impossible to use on them.
  • 2. If you propel yourself into the air, you could also be leaving yourself open.
  • 3. This jutsu's weakness is Dojutsu, because if a Sharingan user spots your chakra in the ground, they can act accordingly.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique to either defend myself or throw my opponent into the air to create an opening to combine this technique with a Raiton technique, doing a good amount of damage to the opponent.

How you would counter it:

If I were caught by this technique and thrown into the air, I would use the Wind Stream technique to quickly get out of the open and reposition myself. If my opponent were to use it to defend themself, I would use a Raiton technique to overcome their defence and attack them all at once.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I begin to send my water chakra into the earth below, and the chakra is soon under the position of my opponent. Then, I send it erupting upwards, causing the chakra to burst from underneath the opponent as a pillar of water. This water pillar sends them flying upwards into the air, open for me to attack them.

I'm sorry for the late reply. :\

( Suiton: Haretsu sui Yashi ) - Water Release: Water Bursting Palm
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.

Firstly perform the seal. Then by sending your water chakra to your right arm, you will create water around said arm. From that you will thrust your arm forwards releasing the water in the form of a bullet that doesn't piece but has enough force behind it to push your target back a bit.

All good

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Can be used to move the target to a desired area.
  • 2. Would stun the opponent, giving you an opening to exploit.
  • 3. Could be used to manipulate the terrain slightly.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. It doesn't deal damage any further than that of a concussive or blunt-force nature.
  • 2. Occupies one arm, so you won't be forming seals for a little bit.
  • 3. It's short range.
How you would use it in battle:

I could use this technique to take out projectile attacks and techniques, as well as manipulate the terrain slightly for my own purposes. Another potential use is with the assistance from a clone or sufficiently large technique. If I were to have a clone or technique keep my opponent's attention, I could use this technique to hit the opponent, which would create an opening for me to exploit.

How you would counter it:

To counter this technique would be fairly simple, since it is a short range technique. One counter is staying out range. Another is taking advantage of how linear it is, being able to evade it and keep moving towards the opponent and putting pressure on them is probably the best tactic to evade this technique.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I form the Ram seal, and begin to send Suiton chakra towards my right arm, focusing it around the skin of my limb. Then, I create a mass of water and thrust my arm forward, sending a big bullet of water flying towards the opponent. The bullet of water knocks him/her several feet.

( Suiton: Seisuiryū ) - Water Release: Azure Water Stream
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a moving body of water beneath him that travels towards the opponent carrying the user. They then slash the opponent with their sword multiple times.

Alright, send your water chakra to your feet. From that the chakra should create water, but in such a way that it is a moving current. And, the current should push you the user towards your target and once you get close to him using said current grab your sword and hack and slash at your target.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Has a good range.
  • 2. The user can possibly use this to evade attacks while making their way to the opponent and launch straight into an attack.
  • 3. Will deal lethal damage if the jutsu is successful.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Requires you to be close to your opponent to actually do damage.
  • 2. If the opponent can land a Raiton technique on you or the water jet, you won't stand much chance defending yourself.
  • 3. The opponent won't be having a hard time countering this either during the time it takes for you to travel towards him or during your opening assault with your weapon.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique while in short range of my opponent and they are preferably distracted, so he won't have much time to prepare against or counter my attack.

How you would counter it:

I would counter this technique by putting distance between myself and the opponent, so I will have a good view on my opponent and form a fitting counter.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Sending my Suiton chakra to my feet, I then release it, causing a mass of water to form. Using shape manipulation, I shape the water and it's current to mimic that of a jet, the force and push of the water jet under my feet carrying me forward towards my enemy. Drawing my sword, and once within range of my opponent, I grip the sword with both hands and perform a vertical slash down on his right shoulder. Taking my left hand off the blade, I the perform a diagonal cut to his stomach, leaving a large slash wound stretching from his left hip to right pectoral. Then, I cut across and slice off his head.

Two techniques till we are done with C-ranks.

( Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi ) - Water Release: Flowing Whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user first kneads chakra in their mouth and then, placing their hand on their mouth expels water in the form of a whip which they use to lash their opponent, sending them flying backwards.

Simply explained: it is a whip that is created via your mouth using your water and by placing your hand on your mouth, you will release the water in the form of a whip which then can be used to lash your target, causing damage and causing them also to loose their balance.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. If it has enough strength to knock back the opponent, then it can be used to take out other things such as projectile attacks and alter the terrain to an extent.
  • 2. Can deal lethal blunt force damage, stunning the enemy.
  • 3.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. No actions requiring the use of arms can be done, since this technique occupies one arm.
  • 2. Has a short range.
  • 3. Doesn't have a large variety of possible uses.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique in CQC mainly, due to it's limited range preventing me from doing anything that matters outside of short range. Given that this technique can afford me the extra reach of at least a few metres, I'll be able to do some good damage in a CQC situation. Also, I can use this technique to deal with projectile attacks as well.

How you would counter it:

Staying out of range of this technique is the best counter. Another way to counter this is disabling one of the opponent's arms, since this will limit his choices and tactics in respect to offense and defence.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Putting my right hand to my mouth, I gather my chakra in my mouth and begin to knead it. Completing the kneading process, I begin to turn the chakra into water, and then release the water constantly. Letting my arm hang at my side, my hand holds a thin stream of water in the shape of a whip. Lashing my arm up towards my target, the water whip surges towards the opponent quickly, knocking him back a few metres upon being hit.

Welcome back!

( Suiton: Shawā ) - Water Release: Showers
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user condenses water vapour in the air above them to generate multiple projectiles of water which shoot at their target with a great amount of force and speed. The user can also shoot a barrage of small water projectiles directly from the swing of their hand.

Releasing a small amount of water chakra throughout the air. You will then manipulate it to form into projectiles that seem to form out of thin air. They attack your target with great force and speed, piecing damage and whatnot.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Good for dealing with multiple targets.
  • 2. The technique isn't visible until the water drops form, makes for a nice surprise attack.
  • 3. Requires no seals.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Isn't too effective as a defensive technique, since the water manifests itself above the user and only really works as projectile-based attacks.
  • 2. If you're attacked while swinging your arm to use the jutsu, you'll be hard pressed to defend yourself using a technique with no seals that will be able to get you out of danger.
  • 3. It won't defend you from techniques that are on a large scale, since the projectiles wouldn't be big themselves.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique in CQC situations when my opponent won't be able to prepare or defend themselves sufficiently given the range I'm using the technique at. I can also use this to take out multiple targets, be they clones or small weapons like kunai and shuriken or even low-scale Katon techniques.

How you would counter it:

Using a technique of larger scale should do the trick. I could also use a wall-based technique like Goka Mekkyaku (usually not something that strong, unless I had some sort of strategy or the circumstances called for it) or a Doton technique. Projectile techniques could work as well. Using the Hiding in Mist technique would also work, since they won't have any sense of direction which will make them use their jutsu quickly.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Gathering chakra within my system, I begin to manipulate it and give it the nature of Suiton chakra. Then, I release it into the air surrounding me from the pores of my skin. Concentrating it above me, I then create multiple projectiles of water that hover above my head. Bringing my arm up in front of me, I then swing it to the left, causing the water projectiles to shoot forward at my opponent. The water projectiles shoot into him, puncturing his skin from the speed and force.

1. Water Release: Waterfall Basin

This technique is my favourite out of the selected 3 techniques, because it is very convenient and has a variety of uses that can give you the advantage in a fight. Because it can create a water source and be used as one, it is possible for you to take control of the battle quite easily. With a large amount of water to manipulate, you can limit your opponent's actions if you play your cards right. This technique also creates openings for combo's with other Suiton techniques and even more if you're able to organise good tactics.

2. Water Release: Rain Tiger at Will

I really like this technique because of it's sensory capabilities. While it won't detect chakra or techniques that are out of range of the Rain Tiger at Will e.g. underground or shelter, it allows you to always be aware of where the opponent is if they escape your line of sight. That way, you'll never be caught off guard if they move away from you to surprise attack you.

3. Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust

This technique is very useful due to the fact that the opponent won't see it coming until it's too late, unless they have a way of detecting the chakra beneath them. There are a few ways to combine this technique with others to perform lethal moves that are capable of killing the opponent in a single move. For that, this technique earns number 3 on my list.

Welcome to the B-ranks!

(Suiton: Hahonryuu) - Water Style: Destruction Torrent
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After waving the Boar → Dog → Ram hand seals, a water vortex created in the palm of the user’s hand that can then be blasted forward creating a spiraling wall of water which can then be used to attack or defend.
Note: No water source required

Perform the required hand seals. And then by channelling water chakra to your palm (right or left doesn't matter) a vortex will start to form out of the chakra in the centre of your palm. From that you will thrust your palm forward you will release a spiralling wall of water that you can be used to defend against attacks, or be used as an attack itself.
