And so what sasori beat sandaime? , do you know what happened in that fight? , sasori could have offered him a poisoned apple for all you know.. in the end it doesn't matter. sandaime still was the strongest kazekage BY FAR , according to the elders

I say hiruzen he has more justu has the best summoning on the show knows every justu in the leaf was taught by the 1st n 2nd hokage. in his only fight his charka was strong enough to break the tiles on the roof they were fighting on and could have destroyed orochimaru if he never did edo tensei

minato never reached his prime...according to jiraya he had potential to be top tier, one of the strongest ninjas in the world..... that never happened.. he died yougn in his 20s... he was not the strongest hokage..... its clearly stated hiruzen was.. manga and databook... just like its clearly stated the third kazekage was the strongest kazekage by far.

No I have just been rereading part 1, only Iruka and Kabuto said it. And Kabuto only said "He was the strongest kage of his era" or something like that, referring to when he was the active kage. Kabuto never said anything about the previous kages if I am not mistaken.

I think that if the Hokages were to duke it out, either Minato or Tobirama would win, due to ST jutsus, edo tensei (for Tobirama), and sealing jutsus/ being able to break contract seals (Minato).

If Minato touches Hiruzen, he loses Enma as a summon, which is a large part of his fighting style.

And once Minato touches someone it is pretty much game over for them, as all he has to do is randomly teleport to them, and he can do that whenever. If I were Minato I would tag someone and then continue the fight and then when they least expect it I would FTG to them and kill them.

i dont see how people can say hiruzen is the strongest wen minato and hashirama took on the nine tails and another opponent ( tobi, madara ) at the same time . hiruzen couldnt even fight kurama/madara/tobi individually so how does he fit as the strongest hokage ? who cares wat iruka says, hes shown nothing that would give him the number one spot

What I mean as well. The 1st and 3rd may be stronger and have more feats than Minato. But in a 1v1, there is no ****en WAY they can win against such an opponent. Sarutobi is the best because he took on 2 previous kage whiloe fighting oro and he was in old age and was considerably weaker than in prime as stated by many characters including himself sarutobi >first and second

sarutobi was called god of shinobi to not his village but to world of powerful ninja and is the only hokage to make it to retirement.

Sarutobi is likely more powerful than minato although maybe not by far but Kishi did state him to be the strongest kage.

that is why he is the strongest we havent seen a prime saru so stop blabbering and listen to the creator of the Story
