sarotobi Reasons -he was the god of the ninja world in his prime he tought the sanin and was able to handle his own fighting the 1st and 2nd hokage as edos when he was way past his prime

I dont think so. If you think about a real fight, then Minato can beat them easily.

And btw, Minato never reached his prime. He still had to mix his chakra nature with rasengan

Personally , i Don't know y Hashirama would be stronger than minato or hiruzen, he only
`became homage because he had Mokuton and could control tailed beast

Diden't 1st take control of kyuubi in their battle? and used it against madara, if im right it was said but not sure.... Anyway Strongest I would say is Hashirama then Hiruzen, next I would say Tobirama/Minato as we don't know what tobirama can do yet then tsunade as we diden't see her in action yet but she was able to protect everyone in the village

I agree with whats been said. I think it comes to down to a close Minato/Hashirama for 1st with Hiruzen coming in a close second - almost a three way tie. But I think Minato would have serious problems with Hashirama - he had MASSIVE chakra reserves being a senju and Mokuton. I go with Hashirama.

hashirama senju. defeated EMS Madara and 100% Kurama (not the half chakra one that fought pain), literally created konoha, toyed around with old hiruzen, knows one of the most powerful genjutsu, can control several bijuus.

why no tobirama in the poll? given right circumstances, he could defeat minato and sarutobi. he did not go all out vs old sarutobi. he created edo tensei.

Hashirama is known for his chakra reserves but we don't know much about his offensive jutsus! I guess considering the whole evolution with each generation, Minato (who had a contract with the toads as his master jiraiya) would be hard to beat in sage mode or frog kumute(dont know the spelling)!

The third would be second. Said to have mastered the most techniques of all of the Hokages!

minato never reached his prime...according to jiraya he had potential to be top tier, one of the strongest ninjas in the world..... that never happened.. he died yougn in his 20s... he was not the strongest hokage..... its clearly stated hiruzen was.. manga and databook... just like its clearly stated the third kazekage was the strongest kazekage by far.

Hiruzen for me. Minato would have been the best but he didn't reach his prime.
then, Hashirama and Tobirama slightly behind. i daresay there wouldnt be much to differentiate between these four though. Tsunade isn't on the same level though, and neither would have been Danzo or Kakashi if they had been elected.

ignoring the fact oro and sasori beat hiruzen and sandaime kazekage respectively and the fact hashirama > hiruzen and gaara > sandaime
