He was falling because he didn't kamui himself at first. Because Konan had carefully prepared so that if he tried he would also kamui the paper bombs around him, into the other dimension, making his kamui useless, that's y he fell until he decided to sacrifice an eye and use izanagi

Well, forces act instantly, at a distance. So the exact moment CT is activated, there would be a force on Obito pulling him up. He turns intangible, but its too late. Since the force was there first, he must experience an acceleration upwards. Therefore, it would be just like the case where he was falling during the battle with Konan.

Where is it stated Madara's Chibaku Tensei is stronger than Nagato's?

The former hasn't even been seen using it.

Wrong, the pull would tear everything apart. Not just the ground.

Do I have to reiterate that this isn't the CT by Nagato. But a stronger CT? The reason why Naruto, Killer Bee, and Itachi wasn't torn to sheds was because the pull wasn't that strong in the first place. It all depends on the pull.

where did you get this info from?

Then this thread blows. Seriously, we're supposed to go off of some gravitational pull you're making up that would be strong enough to rip the human body apart? No duh Kamui can't counter that, nothing in the manga would counter that. The user of CT would end up killing themselves in the process.

Teleportation Kamui? It's not fast enough. A super strong gravity field acts and destroys virtually in an instant.

CT doesnt do that it just draws everything to it and you have no manga evidence to support this claim real world science holds little to no relevance in naruto

Well it's physics. Don't blame me about how gravity works. Yes, Gravity does work that way.

Any object has a limit before being torn to pieces, providing that the gravity is strong enough.

Umm, well I assume that many of the things in this manga are based off of real world experiences. It seems like gravity still holds. Why does Kishi have the characters fall if they jump off of a roof, because its based on our normal human conceptualization of the way the world works. Why does Kishi have water give reflections? Because water in real life does the same thing!

That's not my point. You're asking a question that has a definite answer already which is why your thread blows. You're saying that given Obito be put in gravitational field that can rip the body apart instantly into shreds, Kamui wont save him. Well of course that's gonna kill him, there's nothing to argue cause your putting in that hypothetical question. If the gravity is that strong, it would kill the CT user (which no one could pull off anyway) in the process so again, this thread is very pointless.

To you it's obvious. But no one else here gets the point. It seems they don't think that gravity can get that strong in the first place.

Also, comeon, no one could pull off? I'm sure the CT done by the S06P can tear objects to shreds. At this point in the manga, I think it's OK to discuss this since the characters are approaching God-Tier anyways.

yes they are to an extent but thats only to allow use to relate and understand the world but science as a whole has no relevance unless you can scientifically explain how people can split them self's into hundreds of clones in seconds create a water bubble that is a ridicules size and moves with the person who formed it then i will except you using science as a major argument

so until then you have to use the naruto manga logic if CT hasn't shown to rip people apart then it doesnt no matter how much science you put to it

Obito teleported fast enough to dodge KCM naruto's punch. That very fast.

You need to quit riding Chibaku Tensei's ****. You make it out to be some god-killing jutsu. It is not that powerful.

ST was strong enough to tear things apart. CT acts through the same mechanism of gravity. Therefore if we keep amping up the CT, things will be torn apart. Come on, it's transitive logic which still holds in manga.

Wrong. It's a very special jutsu. It's one of those special Jutsu's in which if we amp it up enough, it can kill virtually anyone.

There are not many Jutsu's in which you can say the same about. If you keep amping up the Bijuu-Dama, it's speed will still not be enough to get Obito and even some individuals can survive with Izanagi. If you amp up rasenshuiken, it still can't get Obito. If you amp up a rasengan to the point where it can destroy a city on impact, it still can't get Obito.

CT is special because it uses gravity. It can't be dodged or blocked. It acts over long time intervals, negating Izanagi. That is why it is so special.

Also, I went with the higher end instead of the median because it is obvious that Kishi was trying very hard to get one point accross in that picture: that CT is HUGE.

Like I said, the curvature is a visual cue that this CT is simply massive.

The only other time I have seen curvature in the manga was the 2nd stage Juubi BB detonation.
So it's clear that curvature is a device used to portray extremely large scales.

Also, the dust in the crater doesn't mean anything.
Look at the sides. The steepness of the craters walls are so high, they look almost vertical.
Based on this, I don't see the crater being bowl shaped.

If Chibaku Tensei is a big as you make it seem Naruto would've been crushed by the pressure alone. Furthermore he would not of been able to breathe as he would be way up in the atmosphere. It's convenient that you don't use science when it;d prove you wrong.

The core was already losing its power. It broke right after Naruto turned back to human. I don't think that all of the sudden, the core shut off. It was more like it was losing its potency and it eventually lost enough so that the sphere fell apart. As for air problem, well, the pull must have pulled the air up too. Gravity affects air you know.

If it loses it's potency that fast it is not that powerful of a jutsu. What's the point of a nuke if it detonates before it reaches the target?
