Obito's kamui is near instant.

-He managed to Dodge A's Punch in a blink on an eye.

-He kept up with Bijuu mode naruto and Guy with gates.

Nothing affects Obito when hes intangible.

Your argument is invalid as it rests on the case that Obito's Kamui isn't instant which it is.

good day.

If it loses it's potency that fast it is not that powerful of a jutsu. What's the point of a nuke if it detonates before it reaches the target?

Well had Naruto not unleashed the Kuubi, he would have died.

The point is that it loses potency after it finishes forming the sphere, at which point, would have crushed everyone in it.
Very few can survive being sucked into a CT sphere. Not even the 3rd Raikage can do it.

Has the 3rd Raikage ever been sucked into Chibaku Tensei? So you saying he can't survive is baseless. Every time we have see Chibaku Tensei in action the people targeted survived.

Time actually has to pass by before the sphere loses potency. He has to breath. He's human.

Still the fact remains that we have not seen the 3rd Raikage get sucked into Chibaku Tensei. Until that time anything is an assumption. Furthermore the second point I made still stands. We have never seen Chibaku Tensei work once.

Hm... I see what you are saying but I think Obito would just teleport once he had gained the first sign of foul play.

There are a lot of people that haven't been sucked in. So?

In both cases, there were Bijuu involved. That is not a fair analysis.

That is a very fair analysis. I used the subject sample given instead of extrapolating with data we do not have. So for now Chibaku Tensei is 0 for 2.

Bijuus are very powerful beings. Village destroyers essentially. To say that CT is ineffective due to a 100% failure rate is misleading because the experiment was flawed in the first place. Bijuus are the confounding data. They're outliers. We can expect much better results with a different sample.

Sometime we have to extrapolate.

No human was ever killed by a T-Rex. Does that mean they're not dangerous to humans if they are present? Of course not. We have to extrapolate using logic because not everything is handed to us on a sliver platter.

But since the only time Chibaku Tensei was used was against Bijuus they are the norm there is no other data for there to be outliers.

It is never safe to extrapolate.

Sure no human was killed by a T-Rex. We assume they are dangerous to humans. However we wouldn't know unless we had a T-Rex and a human together.

Thats why it's a bad experiment. I want to see how useful CT is in war scenarios. So I don't want data on how they work against Bijuus. I want to know how well they would work against humans. And humans generally don't have TBBs.

We wouldn't know for 100%. But we can know for 95% or 98%. That's good enough for me. When extrapolating wisely, you increase the results' probability of being actually true.

But using it against Bijuus is a war scenario. Other countries use their Jinchuurikis as humans weapons.

We don't know with 0% certainty. As their is 0 data to go off of.

You only want to extrapolate to prove your point. If extrapolation was detrimental to your point I'm sure you wouldn't want to use it.

Fine, against 8 tails or the 9 tails, it Nagato's CT fails.

Also, in most war scenarios, the full tailed beast doesn't come out. Kuubi came out b/c Naruto broke the necklace and Hachibi had a perfect host. In most war scenarios, CT is invaluable due to its raw power.

Well yeah. It's called logical deduction. We have to piece things together. For example, if PS can tank a TBB from the Kuubi, then it surely can tank a Chidori even if we never seen it tank a Chidori since we know that a TBB>Chidori.

But wait....., we've never seen Madara's PS tank a Chidori so we can't say for sure. All we know is that it can tank a Kuubi TBB. Surely you'd disagree with that line of reasoning.

That line of reasoning is cheap. We can imply what will happen based on what has happened before, in the case of Susano'o we've seen it enough to have a decent sample size. We have seen it tank multiple attacks of varying degree of intensity. In the case of the dinosaurs we have no sample of dinosaur human interaction. Finally in the case of Chibaku Tensei the only samples we had were failed attempts.
