I don't really agree. Think of the mind as a computer. For a computer to work, there must be an operator. The same goes for the brain. It needs an operator. Some would call this "operator" a soul, some; consciousnesses or energy.

Think about it, your brain processes the information of this world, but who or what is actually viewing what the brain processes?

Atheist is simply the name given to a being that demands proof. A common misconception is that all atheists are evil, hatred-consumed, beings that hate god. If someone questions god nowadays, they are put into this category called "atheism". I personally believe none of us currently know, or will ever know in this lifetime the truth; but that's the beauty of being human.

There is nothing viewing what the brain processes--there is only You sensing the environment around you, while the brain interprets your empirical data. The mind is your own personal consciousness powered by the brain and the energy it consumes is the ATP taken in by the brain, produced by the body, produced by the food you eat. All 100 million neurons work together to construct your thoughts, memories, senses, and emotions.
