I believe god may exist but until he presents himself I will try to find a way to connect are minds to cyberspace so that my species will live on and truly live eternally with no aging, hunger, or pain. So maybe when your dying I could transfer your mind into a machine that keeps your essence thoughts and experiences where you could possibly interact with your family members/friends. Maybe if someone has a disease that is ravaging their body I could transfer there mind and relieve them of their pain while doctors operate. Perhaps I'm being too optimistic about the future.

Actually, when you think about it, what would your religion do without atheists? They would have lost their primary purpose, to gain followers.
