Advantages
  • This jutsu requires no handseals, so it would be quick and easy to perform for the user.
  • If the jutsu can be used multiple times, then the user could continue slamming his/her opponent until they are unable to fight.
  • If the jutsu can be used multiple times, then the user could use this technique on multiple opponents, which would make it very flexible in battle.
Disadvantages
  • This jutsu is only short-ranged, so an opponent out of range or who could easily move out of range wouldn’t be affected.
  • If the jutsu can only be used once, then it’s a one-shot technique, meaning that the user could only slam his/her opponent once and then have to move on.
  • This jutsu can only be used for offensive purposes, so it wouldn’t have a defensive or supplementary use in battle.

How would you defend/counter/exploit the jutsu if used on you

IMO Wind Release: Gale Surge Technique would do. If the user of this technique blows the wind against the Rock Hammer, then it might blow the rock and the opponent away, causing the user to come away unharmed.

No questions

Jutsu Performance
I start focusing chakra throughout my body before changing my raw chakra into Doton chakra by using nature transformation. Having properly molded my Doton chakra, I release it from the bottom of my feet and into the ground, I then manipulate my chakra that's infused with the ground to make a large rock rise up from the ground and levitate in the air which I'm able to do by focusing on manipulating my chakra. I continue manipulating my chakra and cause the rock to hit your clone on the head.

Advantages
  • This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, making it very flexible to use at any distance during battle.
  • This jutsu can be used either by fist/palm or mouth, so it would be very easy and flexible to perform. Also, it requires no handseals, which makes it easy and quick to perform.
  • This jutsu would be good as part of a combination because it could distract an opponent so that the user can follow up with another technique.
Disadvantages
  • This jutsu is pretty straightforward, so if an opponent is aware that it’s coming, he/she could dodge it with relative ease or counter with a different technique.
  • This jutsu is a one-shot technique, meaning that the user can’t send more than one rock at a time, so this jutsu wouldn’t be handy when facing multiple opponents.
  • This jutsu might not make for a good finishing technique because it doesn’t sound like it’s able to crush or smash the opponent.

How would you defend/counter/exploit the jutsu if used on you

Water Release: Water Encampment Wall, because it’s a defensive technique that surrounds the user completely. Also, this technique should stop Rock Bullet because it’s a higher rank.

No questions

Jutsu Performance
I begin gathering chakra into my lungs before turning it into Doton chakra by using nature transformation. Having completely molded my Doton chakra, I release it through my mouth as a large globule of mud but I manipulate my chakra as it is midway towards my target to harden, causing it to become a large rock which hits your clone on his head.

Advantages
  • This jutsu needs no handseals in order to be used, so it’s very quick and easy to perform.
  • This jutsu would be good to use during a combination because it’s such a fast technique, and it takes the opponent off of their feet, meaning that the user has time for their next attack.
  • This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, making it most useful in closer combat, which along with its speed, makes it very handy.
Disadvantages
  • This jutsu is only short to mid-range, meaning that an opponent out of range won’t be affected. An opponent who can move out of range also won’t be affected.
  • This jutsu is only an offensive type, meaning that it can’t be used in a defensive or supplementary fashion during battle.
  • This jutsu could be considered pretty straightforward, so an opponent could see the attack coming before it makes contact.

How would you defend/counter/exploit the jutsu if used on you

Probably that Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball if the user of this jutsu had enough time to deploy it. If the jutsu was successful, it could break up the rocks, and no harm would come to the user.

No questions

Jutsu Performance
I gather chakra throughout my body before turning it into Doton chakra using my using nature transformation. I then claps my hands together and release my Doton chakra into the earth. I manipulate my chakra to causes 2 large rocks to rise up either side and slam against and impale him.

Send your chakra into the ground beneath you, then stomp the ground hard with your feet and bring forth fragments of rock to rise from the ground and skewer my clone.
( Doton: Gizagiza no Iwajin ) - Earth Release: Jagged Rock Formation
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and stomps the ground. By doing so, he causes small fractures to rip through the ground, which will then force fragments of earth and rock to rise up from the ground like protruding rock formations to then deal blunt force damage to the opponent and can raise them up into the air.

Advantages
  • This jutsu requires no handseals, making it fast and easy to perform.
  • This jutsu can be offensive or supplementary, so it can be very handy and flexible to use in battle.
  • This jutsu would be a good part of a combination because it can either act as a prep for another technique or a finisher to deliver a final blow.
Disadvantages
  • This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged. So an opponent who is out of range or could easily move out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu.
  • This jutsu has offensive and supplementary uses in battle, but not defensive, so the user couldn’t protect him/herself with this jutsu.
  • This jutsu might not be very useful in an area where the earth is already broken up because this jutsu needs an area that can produce steady rock formations.

How would you defend/counter/exploit the jutsu if used on you
Probably Wind Release: Vacuum Wave, because the blade of wind circles the user enough to both defend the user and attack the opponent at the same time. So the user could protect him/herself from Jagged Rock Formation and follow up with a counter simultaneously.

I gather chakra throughout my body before applying my Doton affinity to it, turning my raw chakra into Doton chakra. I then raise my leg and slam it on the ground, releasing my chakra into the earth. Once my chakra is infused with the earth, I manipulate my chakra to make rocks rise up from the ground under your clone and hit him, causing several damage.

That concludes your c rank training before we proceed further we would have a simple spar where you will be limited to using only earth jutsu in an attempt to counter my techniques which would not be limited to any rank/element. The purpose of these is to see your level of creativity and try to create different scenarioes in battle where the techniques learnt here might come to use. If you are having issues countering the move using only earth jutsu learnt so far, speak up and we shall discuss it. Any questions?

I slam my two hands and bring forth massive pillars of earth from the ground beneath you which skewers you and crushes your bones.

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

Now Assuming this is an official battle. How will you defend with the limited techniques learnt so far? You are free to use a minimum of one technique and maximum of two to defend.

As soon as I see you perform the technique, I start to concentrate my chakra into the ground and then release it. I use my chakra to create a small earthquake that is enough to make you lose your balance and miss the aim of your technique. I then move a bit further just in case.

(Doton: Yochi no Douyou) - Earth Release: World Shaking
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in making the enemies lose their footing and fall to ground or miss the aim of a given technique.

As soon as you see me perform the technique? Meaning my jutsu is already active and has erupted from the ground. I slammed my palms on the ground, and after that you make me lose balance? What bearing will that have on the jutsu. What do you think?

You told me to assume that this is an official battle. In an official battle, the first move is always performed. And yeah, the moment you release your earth chakra, that's when I use my jutsu.
I think that it can actually help me escape your jutsu, since it will somehow distract you and make you lose control of the jutsu.
""The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in making the enemies lose their footing and fall to ground or miss the aim of a given technique. "

That's what I think. I don't think I can use any of the other C-rank or D-rank jutsus against your technique besides this and some of the other supplementary techniques like "Hiding like a mole technique", but which are dangerous since you may notice and destroy me underground.
This is my opinion.

Your move won't work. World shaking only works on jutsu that is thrown, spat or spawn by you towards the opponent. Not something that comes from the ground.
The Destructive rising rock pillars would create its own tremor too. And its chakra would overcome the c-rank chakra of your jutsu.

As you can see from priest, your technique would be overcome by my chakra and the earth pillars would still erupt from the ground towards you. Okay now try countering the same jutsu with one technique however this time you arent limited to any element only limited to the same rank being C. After this we can both individual moves and see if it could have been approached better.

All the C-rank elemental jutsus seem almost impossible for that A rank attack to be countered as far as I can tell. The only way is to IMO is to evade this jutsu. Firstly I thought of using a wind technique and push myself backwards to get away from the technique but since there is no wind jutsu with such description I thought of using a water technique.

As soon as I see the senpai perform the jutsu, I quickly 3 handseals. Then I transfer my suiton chakra to my hand and use shape manipulation to turn it into a whip. After doing so, I swing the water whip to a nearby tree, rotating in through it and pushing as hard as I could towards the direction of the tree, so I could evade the earth technique successfully.

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

Nearby tree? Redo that whole scenarioe once again. C rank? What About B ranks? Study the jutsu harder and try to find a jutsu for both c and b rank that you think can counter that appriopriately. Also Bear in mind that earth is strong to water, so its always advisable to use a rank higher than the strong element, although jutsu description and size also comes into hand.

You told me in your previous reply to only use a C-rank jutsu of whatever I wanted, but honestly, I can't see any basic 5 C-rank counter that A-rank earth technique ...

You can use the d rank[ Fūton Kihon Jutsu) Wind Release Basic Technique you can angle it diagonally forward towards the ground soo it propels you backwards. You can also expunge it daigonally backwards to launch you towards your opponent thus getting close at the same time for a close combat.

Note you must counter the technique before the spikes begin to rise because by then it will be too late. What do i mean? The moment you hear vibrations and observe the shaking of the earth you become aware that an underground attack is imminent and thus must act, not waiting till the jutsu actually is created.

Now trying countering the same technique with a brank of your choice using any element except lightning.

After senpai performed the 3 handseals, I feel the earth shaking beneath me. I then quickly perform 5 handseals and create air currents that then turn into nets. I jump quickly in the air send the technique towards the ground before the jutsu my senpai used emerges, blocking it in the process.

(Fūton: Kakeami no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Cast Net Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user using a giant folding fan or giant fan will swing it towards the enemy summoning a gust of wind that then takes the form of a net and slices through the opponent. A standard user can perform this technique by using a sequence of 5 hand seals.

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.
Good. Perform the boar and ox hand-seal and slam your two hands on the ground and make the ground beneath my clones feet to spiral inwards and sink him in or crush him your choice. The technique can be used in all ranges and is best suited for rocky terrains, so use it wisely.

Advantages
  • This technique is more advantageous to use in a mountainous area or inside a cave because the technique is more likely to crush opponents or bury them alive, unlike in an open space.
  • This jutsu only requires two handseals and the action of the user slamming his/her hand on the ground, so it would be fast and easy to perform.
  • This jutsu is short or long-ranged, making it decently flexible for use at most distances of battle.
Disadvantages
  • While this jutsu only needs two handseals, an opponent could attack first if he/she sees the jutsu coming with a technique requiring no handseals.
  • This technique could also be dangerous to use, especially in a cave, because the user is at risk of crushing or burying himself by becoming trapped in the technique.
  • This jutsu can’t be used at mid-range, so this jutsu can only be used up close and personal or quite a ways away.

How would you defend/counter/exploit the jutsu if used on you
I would use a technique that could push the user up into the air so that they could avoid the ground collapsing around them. I’d suggest a technique such as Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust to get the user out of there.

No questions

Jutsu Performance
I focus my chakra into both my hands before quickly performing the Boar->Ox hand seals and placing my hands on the ground. I then use nature transformation to turn my raw chakra into Doton chakra and release it into the ground. I manipulate my chakra to make the area surrounding your clone to break apart while spiraling inwards to crush him.
