The actor's played horrible(with the exception of Liam Neeson). The digital effects where stupidly not well made(for a movie with this hype).
Jar-jar has gotta be in my top5-list of the most annoying characters of all time in a movie.
Darth Maul's death was stupid. He owned both of'em, then just stood there like a idiot and let Obi-wan kill him.
Yoda, should NOT have been animated.

I thought you were talking ep. 1-3 Yoda VS. ep 4-6 Yoda, thinking he was originally animated in the first ep as well. To be honest, I didn't even know they did animate him in the BR version of ep 1 before now O___O
However, I'm glad they did so for Ep. 2 and 3, or none of the Yoda scenes would have worked xd (especially in ep. 2, where he's fighting and all).

I agree with you as any normal person wouldThat explains itThey are legendary !
Episodes 1 - 3 all suck IMAO, 70% because of Hayden Christensen, 30% because of the bad script. This is how I rate them:

3. despite some flaws it was actually quite interesting because of everything revealing and the end of the story, but when you look at the complete picture it is still very disappointing.
First, I never wanted to see the adventures of child Anakin, nor his mommy ( who later became one of the main triggers for him switching to the dark side, how lame is that - portraits Anakin as a crybaby and momma´s boy).
What would be much more interesting to see is Anakins growth as a Jedi, suppressing other students in training and missions as a sign of the awesome power he is going to wield later. Even as a teen ( this is where a story should have started ), as a result of the strong force inside him, Anakin should have a better understanding of the universe and act and behave much more maturely freaking out people around him. An actor with a little more depth, charisma and inner strength would have done a nice job here.
Darth Maul is a great villain, he should have been the second main antagonist trough all the episodes. The way he died is a travesty. Count Dooku ( Count Dookula more like it, Christopher Lee played Dracula sever times in the old days ) is lame, unnaturally inserted in the movies, he serves only as a copy of Saruman in the Star Wars universe.
The whole idea of the behind Clone Wars seems far fetched to me, clones are actually cloned from Boba´s father Jango, and Boba is also his clone. Clone Army consists of millions of Boba´s. . All this makes the SW-verse seem small and banal.
And what is Jedi´s impossible task. Small number of Jedi police galaxy of gazillion worlds, and keep the peace. How do they accomplish this..Do some worlds stay unprotected ( most of them apparently).
Watching the 4-6 trilogy, I always tought of Jedi as some sort of holy knights, a paladin if you will, that had some higher purpose than a mere lawmen.

No way dude. The only thing wrong with the newer episodes is Jar Jar Binks.
The lightsaber fighting is better, the sub-plots are better, the actors are better for the most part, and the meaning behind everything is much more nuanced and representative of the times.
I mean which lightsaber duel is better, Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader in episode 4, or Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon Jinn vs. Darth Maul in Episode 1?
Darth Maul for the win dude. Darth Maul would destroy Vader in a duel.
There is nothing wrong with the actors in the new films. I don't get where you people are coming from.
As for Darth Maul defeating Darth Vader in a fight, I strongly disagree. Darth Maul was a wicked swordsman, but there were very few who could match the power of the Force that Vader had

I said duel when mentioning the two of them, meaning only a lightsaber fight. Darth Maul's lightsaber skills were insane.
He got killed because of the plot and he was surprised by the sudden attack but he had mad skills. I mean he was winning against both Qui-Gon and Obi-wan at the same time and pretty much as soon as they were separated he beat them both.

1 is the weakest of the 6, but sadly they have to start there.

How would they remake it? Just take out the Gungans?
By the way I want you to tell me how the newer Star Wars trilogy is so terrible.
What about it was so bad?
It had top notch actors, many of whom are huge A list actors.
The effects are pretty much all amazing. The lightsaber duels were beatifully choreographed and masterful.
Most of the dialogue was better, and the dynamic between Obi-wan and Anakin was way better than it was with Luke and Obi-wan.
And frankly I don't get why everyone was so critical of Hayden Christensen. he showed a wide range of emotions and played it exactly like someone who was walking the fine line between the dark side and the light side.

I don't get the hate on HC either. He's an awesome actor who nailed Anakin in Star Wars.
The newer trilogy isn't as good as the previous, but it's not bad. It's an intro, so one was intro heavy. 2 was introducing the clones while showing the Sith rising vs Jedi. 3 was just pure epicness.
