No.

Speed is not the same
Reaction time depends on agility of your reflexes not your actual speed.

Google Speed & Agility

These are something you cannot debate.

@King: Sorry my bad it is not in manga it is in anime ,just confused...

Hly shit I remember things from anime better than Manga...Repeatedly watching anime causes brainwash ..XD

I'll Edit that post..:win:

Tobirama didn't attack. And also, no one could've dodged that surprise blitz.. unless maybe FTg.. but he didn't have any ftg markings ready. But in the end he reacted by putting a seal on him, knowing he was a zombie.

Minato can do the same in Tobirama's sittuation and didn't tobirama attacked him with his paper bombs...?

Using FTG @ point blank range is also reaction time ..the fact that one managed to perform a jutsu (FTG) at that time proves that..

But notice how that is for the Databook stats and not the manga. :p

Not truly. Let me give an another example. Orochimaru who has 4+ in speed wasn't able to react to someone who has 3.5 in speed even when he was looking at her.. He has the speed.. but couldn't react to it. Hence why I'm saying its not the same.

Also, fastest is implied to "movement" in the manga, never in reaction. However the "speed" is referred to the databook category of "Speed".

I'm talking about real reaction .. not from Naruto-verse point of view. So please don't get that confused. Your reactions don't have to be highest , to have the fastest speed.. Your speed doesn't have to be the fastest to get the highest reaction prowess.
If you're talking about Tsunade-Orochimaru, it was a surprise attack coming from someone Orochimaru didn't even suspect could fight because of her hemophobia. It doesn't really count as a speed feat. It's as if you're walking with a friend and he suddenly punches you without awareness. It has nothing to do with your lack of reaction here but surprise

It's the swiftness of movement and reaction speed. I know both are not the same but they go along in this manga in the speed category

Don't you see the first scan i posted for example? Minato stated whoever strikes a split of second earlier would win. In this case, it's the reaction speed that is involved because the one who will strike first is the one who will react faster than the other

It simply means Minato's reaction speed was above that of MS Obito's

Tobirama seems to have the best reaction, managing to mark Obito and place paper bombs on him while being blitzed. Speed obviously Juubi jin Obito

Thats a pretty weak excuse considering the fact his eyes were right on her. This is where you reactions are supposed to come in.. lol.

Highly wrong, that is the definition of speed in this:

Not the definition of speed in the manga.

Yes its about reaction speed.. i never said Minato didn't have a good reaction speed.. but take away ftg how useful is the reaction speed? o_O. The one to strike with their jutsu was the one that would win.

Reread what i referred to speed as. The samething you guys refer it as.. shunshin.. aka blitz.

Sorry, but there are plenty of shinobi who have shown more quickness with their hands than the top 5 speedsters.

1. That is something shown in the manga, so the manga would be considered dumb not me. Minato appearing on the spot is instant, but not him taking the action of putting a kunai on Killer B's neck.

Provide scans of his anticipation.. when the manga shows they had no clue killer B had the seal on him..

Provide scans of his anticipation

Are you serious? B anticipating Minato is one example. He can't pull out his knife faster than instant. Do you get the point?
