Gai's Night Moth, moving at relativistic speeds, was able to distort the very fabric of space.


Gai having broken ribs and an arm clearly wasn't able to execute the technique to it's full power.

Perhaps the full potential of the Night Moth is to tear space upon impact, completely destroying any target.

After all, many Moths are dark and what does torn space look like? Dark.

Firsr off its "night guy" not "night moth" and second madara most likely meant gai distorted the air around him not space itself.. and finally I think what we saw was the full power of night gai. He kicked madara so hard it shattered his own leg...

Gai isn't the smartest guy. He worn himself out well before the 8th gate. But still, he is strong.

Manga stream said guy distorted the air not space. I don't know which one is right but manga stream's seems to make more sense. If guy can cause spatial distortion by moving close to the speed of light then he would have not only obliterated madara but also would done alot more damage to the landscape.

You may want to wait for viz before saying he used S/T jutsu . Disorted space doesnt mean he is moving at the speed of light but close to it anyways.

Actually there was a lot of prediction Gai's final attack will **** space up. I doubt its posible to use this kind of taijutsu without opening gates. Maybe Lee would be able to become strong enough to do it in 7th gate.

The only way it can bend is if the space the staff is embedded in bends.

Furthermore, Gai can already bend the air, even in 6th gate. So why would Madara be so shocked by seeing Gai bend air?? It doesn't make sense. Madara in base form can already bend the air via PS slash shockwaves.

But again, the staff can't bend unless space bends.

That was not space/time taijutsu! Guy was moving at a supersonic speed meaning he was just moving faster than sound there. That is why his body was not able to keep up and got damaged.

Guy has been using shock waves all along, eving elephant, hirudora asakujaku, all of them involve moving faster than sound in air.. which produese a supersonic wave... whic is above 350 m/s now stop saying its speed of light guys ._.

There is ST genjutsu( Tsukuyomi's time altering effects)

So why not a ST Taijutsu?

We finally got to see one yesterday.
