Anyway, in my view,

Itachi does not have chakra for long duration fight.
Amaterasu is too fast for Minato, it takes a toll before it shoot out flame and the target must be in user sight, Minato will not going to stand like a tree.

Susanoo can't be continuous put up like the other 2 Uchiha. It hurts the user cells and take quite huge amount of chakra. Even it have ultimate defence, yata mirror, tosuka sword, so what!

Tsukuyomi can only hit if Minato fall into it. Itachi will not keep on having tsukuyomi prepared, since it need to concentrate the chakra to use it.

As a tactic to get past Susanoo, couldn't Minato just teleport the upper half of it (and Itachi's upper half) away with the Space-Time barrier? If he can teleport a fully powered bijuudama, he can teleport a susanoo.

Itachi won't underestimate Minato like "Obito" did, plus he can cast genjutsu by pointing at Minato & he can use genjutsu from long distance. People forget that the sharingan has base genjutsu for 3 tomoe & MS. So sorry, don't see Minato breaking out of powerful genjutsu in a 1 vs 1 fight, Itachi got this one.

minato will throw his kunai at itachi. then itachi tries to dodze the kunai. and once the kunai passes him then minato will teleport at back of itachi just like in tobi's fight . then he rashingan itachi's butt and put a mark on him. after that itachi will get his ass raped hundred times in a minute untill minato exaculate his sperm into pathetic itachi. and then after 9 month itachi will be ****ing pregnent as shit.xd

if raikage can avoid amateratsu y cant minato hu is faster than raikage
even raikage fought 1st time with a sharingan user with amateratsu n minato is much cleaver and calm than raikage
minato even dodged raikage's fastest atk the lariat bomb den amateratsu is a also dodgeable

Smh Minato was hokage So I'm pretty damn sure he knows the capabilities of the sharingon he did have a student with it after all. As for Amaterasu minato has his special kunai at the place where he fought tobi. As shown in flashbacks he can just throw a bunch of his kunai around the battle field just he did in the war and I think it's harder to hit someone intangible than a chakra shield. Also susanno can be tagged So a bunch a rasangons to the same spot would most likely break it

in terms of reaction speed minatp and itachi are equal, minato reacted to a full speed raiton armor attack up front against raikage.

Itachi on the other hand was able to react to a full power lightning style KIRIN from sasuke by activating his sussano.

Then people would say minato was a kage/hokage he wouldnt easy to a genjutsu, thay sounds cute but minato has shown no feata in braking or having genjutsu not to mention orochimaru got owned and he was kage lvl

When the fight starts and their in eye contact range itachi instantly uses a tysukuyomi and id its over you cant disagree.

Dude, tobi/obito so far has only been using ONE technique and he has been putting up with naruto (full mode), kakashi, gai, killer bee, 8 and 9 tailed beasts while his statue transforms.

Minato might not have shown everything he is got but with the little he has shown, he is beyond anyone else.

Itachi already knew what was coming when he looked at the sky. He had already prepared susano for sasuke's kirin attack. While minato did not know raikage's full speed. He didn't know what was coming and this is precisely why minato's reaction time is better than anyone. He basically saw raikage's fastest punch and reacted.

Itachi putting his susano is a huge risk or even spamming amaterasu because it sucks up huge amount of chakra and eye life force.Yata mirror can protect incoming attacks but can it protect teleportation? Minato throws all his marked kunais all over the ground. Minato can easily make the illusion that he is going to attack from one direction and change to the other direction in a matter of milli seconds. Can his mirror protect against this? Amaterasu is useless against minato and it would be just a big waste of chakra for itachi. Itachi's genjutsu would definitely give minato huge trouble. Not because it's a genjutsu but because of its performer. Itachi really knows how to use his genjutsu.

Genjutsu problem easy. Avoid eye contact. And susanoo who says he has to break it he could just keep dodging attacks till itachi gets drained of chakra.

Once again minato can only escape amaterasu if he escapes the sharigam sight like raikage did. He will have to be already in motion to escape it, if he isnt then he cant dodge it

Itachi has no knowledge of FTG level 2!!! What If Minato sealed Itachis head off using reaper death seal...?If Itachi saw Minato, he'd prolly heed that "Flee On Sight" order. Don't forget for most of the meat of the series, Itachi was mostly blind from overusing MS and he was sick. Minato could hit Itachi with that locator seal like he did Tobi and come back and one shot him five years from the day they met.

The "healthy Itachi" you're talking about is just fan-fiction. We've never seen him in the manga, so i don't know how he would look like. Not even sure he was sick in part1, so we judge Itachi like Kishimoto presented him to us, just like Nagato who can't walk very well by himself, just like Kakashi who also has problems with his chakra. I can also see Kakashi being a monster if he had Narutos chakra

Horrible grammar dude, but i agree with you. People use his Kage staus or his fight with Tobi to underrate Itachi. I won't say he can't equal or surpass Itachi, because like you said right now. We don't have enough feats from him. He also has space time barrier to remind you. The genjutsu part is the one that will give him trouble. Itachi literally turns to crows when someone hits him. I wouldn't be surprised by a first hit. He could just turn into crows. He also has Susanoo, Amaterasu, and Izanami. Itachi is way too much for Minato in a single's fight.

im sorry dude, but i disagree. the fact that we know little about minato, its really hard to compare him to itachi, or to anyone. weve seen itachi in a fight so its easy to comare him to others. it's hard to say that minato can beat any high level shinobe, but in the same way, we cant say who can beat him too. all we know about him is that he became the youngest hokage, save the village from kyubii, and outwit tobi in a fight. but these arent enough to justify anything. sso i would say, stop saying minato can beat this and that, or minato cant survive a battle with whoever.

Itachi isn't Sasuke. He doesn't have the stamina to run into every fight Susanoo blazing like his little brother. It's his last resort. And because it's his last resort and not his first resort. He'll get one-shotted by FTG + Giant Rasengan combo (Minatos rasengan is the size of Naruto's first giant rasengan. Of course this is with no info.

With full info, it all falls down to who makes the wrong move first.
