@ bogard your making mere assumptions. Saying minato will avoid eye contact, why didntbhe do thay against tobi whos also a sharigan user? You fail. Plusbhe has no knowledge on amaterasu or tysukuyomi.

- Where have you seen Minato looking at Tobis sharingan?
- No need to have knowledge about tsukiyomi, he already know sharingan and his genjutsus, so he would try to avoid eye contact whether this genjutsu is tsukiyomi or not
- It's also safe to assume that he knows Itachi and his jutsus since he said he was seeing everything while he was in Naruto(during Pain invasion)

Amaterasu will hit minato before he can uses the s/t barrier.
Once again minato can only escape amaterasu if he escapes the sharigam sight like raikage did. He will have to be already in motion to escape it, if he isnt then he cant dodge it

What you fail to notice is that he doesn't need to be in motion like Raikage to avoid something. His technique is an instant teleportation

The "healthy Itachi" you're talking about is just fan-fiction. We've never seen him in the manga, so i don't know how he would look like. Not even sure he was sick in part1, so we judge Itachi like Kishimoto presented him to us, just like Nagato who can't walk very well by himself, just like Kakashi who also has problems with his chakra. I can also see Kakashi being a monster if he had Narutos chakra

before using Amaterasu. You also fail to realise that FTG is better than speed. It's instant teleportation. It's as if you see Minato at the point A in one moment, but the other second he is already at the point B far away from it, so the sharingan can't follow something that is appearing and disappearing. Not saying yata can't protect against. What i'm saying is that Yata doesn't cover every angles. It only protects Susanoo from the front except if Itachi changes his place, so a food cart destroyer could affect the Susanoo since it would be attacking from above, and that's when i forget to mention that he would also have to deal with Minato who could take advantage of this with his speed and finish him

Amaterasu is instant, but the user needs to concentrate a bit to use the technique, not to mention that it even has a limit of range(0-5M). Don't know why Minato could not avoid something that even Sasuke almost avoided

believe me am far from a minato fanboy (used to hate him), but actually minato is stronger than itachi, don't put fights like chess and say what if itcahi did this ... how will minato counter that ... its silly, were not the (fictional) characters to do this so you can't judge how and when itachi would use an attack and how minato will stop this .... you make to simple (if it was no one would be excited about seeing fights you know). coz by your logic i can say how the hell can itachi even handle minato's speed ?? he can't keep shooting amaterasu forever and itachi's stamina well ..... is not the best (bad). susanoo won't last forever(that is if minato didn't find away around it) and itachi is a shinobi based on eye jutsu (ms) against the fastest shinobi in the manga. sorry its not hard to imagine itachi loosing coz itachi didn't use his FLASHY JUTSU against a shinobi of minato's caliber (oro was weakened and desperate for a body) so no beating sasuke is not enough and izanami well ... you do realize he got kaputo coz of the edo effect and it was two on one but mainly the edo effect

And where do you see eye contact on your pic? I see someone infront of another and this guy was even wearing a mask. If there was eye contact, Kishi would have shown Tobis sharingan, which wasn't obviously the case on your pic. So where do you see eye contact? Simply because their head are facing each other?

Nothing states that obviously, but the fact he used exactly THAT seal(not another) to stop Sharingan genjutsu actually shows clearly that he knew what he was doing there

So you are actually saying that if someone attack from the front and from behind at the same time, the yata mirror will protect Itachi? It's just logic. It changes its properties in order to stop an attack, but if this attack is not landed on the yata mirror, i don't see where it's usefull

Whether he was trying to kill him or not is not the problem here. The problem is that we saw Sasuke able to avoid Amaterasu even if it was just for a second, so if Sasuke managed to do so, Minato could do it easily. Minato is even faster than Raikage, but you believe he can't dodge something that Raikage dodged? His technique is instant teleportation, nothing is faster than that
