Someone tell me how minato legitly beats itachi i just dont see it..

I'm a fan of both and highly knowledgeable about their jutsu but if we are going by feats, I would have to go with minato cause, his space/time barrier is perfect.

Honestly the amount of people on here that say minato>itachi are crazy, gow can they say that when minato has hardly shown feats other than gamabunta a few seals and ftg and a rasegan?

Gamabunta? Is a huge amaterasu target.
Tell me how minato gets pass tysukuyomi? He keeps ftg'ing? It would be abaurb to think minato would ftg for every second of the fight.

What in minatos arsonal will get pass a yata mirror and sussano? Rasegan?

Then theirs amaterasu, first the only way to dodge it is to escape sight, minato as far as we are aware of has no knowledge on amaterasu or tysukuyomi.

fanboys will say he will tag itachi before he puts up sussano, im not sayingbhe cant but at the same time it would be no easy task

in terms of reaction speed minatp and itachi are equal, minato reacted to a full speed raiton armor attack up front against raikage.

Itachi on the other hand was able to react to a full power lightning style KIRIN from sasuke by activating his sussano.

Then people would say minato was a kage/hokage he wouldnt easy to a genjutsu, thay sounds cute but minato has shown no feata in braking or having genjutsu not to mention orochimaru got owned and he was kage lvl

When the fight starts and their in eye contact range itachi instantly uses a tysukuyomi and id its over you cant disagree.

Minato starts ftg'ing itachi pulls up sussano

i am simply going off feats here, if your going by feats itachi wrecks minato that simple,. If minato were to show more feats id change my mind but until then itachi wrecks him.


And please dont say minato will know not to look in a eyes of a sharigan. User when he was basically making eye contact with fken tobi the whole time!!!



And one more thing bee was able to react with a kunai when minato was using ftg., that should say something.

No clue what manga your reading but yeah minato can summon any of the toads and with that being said Im pretty sure the toads have knowledge on almost every jutsu and also do not realize that minato was called a **** genius of his time come that stand for something he was young as shit and could pull off great feats for a hokage his age, Now if there was to be a fight between the two it would be a great fight and minato would come out on top the reason I say this because one FTG is a huge advantage over the sharigan and the that seals minato have in his arsenal are a huge range I mean minato learned from a Kushina herself who is a derect decent of the uzumaki clan and before her transfer to the hiddenleaf im pretty sure they taught her a shit and also i think she had some trying by the bijuu before who was also a Uzumaki so think of this minato knows seals from generations of uzumakis and he can perform a shit load of them stated by his wife herself. Now itachi was also called a genuis of his clan but look at it this way if shisui would have died before meeting itachi how would have ms,,,, He wouldn't and im pretty sure he would have found another to unlock it but suso is a great def against minatos arsenal but look at this each toad at the moutain is able to be summoned as long as they have the contract so out of thousands of toads im pretty sure theres atleast one that minato knows of that could use earth style and I know itachi does his home work on everyone and with that being said he would have knowledge on FTG and know some kinda of way to get around it but at the same time both would know of each others arsenal and have to counter act it but as we know minato haven't showed many of his tech's besides the ones everyone knows about and im going to end it at this the both op ****ers but we don't have enough info on minato to make this a legit debate but as for that what I have said I think minato would btw im a itachi fanboy out that ass along with minato and alot of other people my name says it all but yeah peace.

first of all,itachi was a kid at the time when minato was 4th hokage you dodo head.and lastly,minato cant use ftg all the time to dodge itachi's moves.

minato cant use ftg to dodge tsukoyomi.once minato looks in itachi's eyes its over.and by looking at the fight between minato and tobi,i highly doubt minato have knowledge about sharingan abilities

its possible for minato to dodge amaterasu but he is going to have to be very cautious.amaterasu is a very fast move and can catch anyone who is not alert at the time.sasuke caught the raikage with amaterasu and the raikage's speed is very comparable to minato so that pretty much explains that

your right,minato can dodge susanoo but your forgetting that susanoo can also be used for the perfect defense.susanoo has a shield that blocks all ninjutsu so unless minato have super strength like tsunade, then it would be basically impossible for minato to get a hit at itachi.

i say itachi would win this battle

1. I was being a smart ass about Itachi being the hokage dipshit

2. Show me proof that he can't use FTG all the time...in kakashi gaiden did you see all the s/t kunais he had ready to throw when he was about to fight 50 enemies..so i would say he can spam it ALL THE TIME

3. Kinda hard to look at someones eyes while they're instantaneously teleporting everywhere...hence tsukoyomi=fail

4. I also recall the raikage dodging it up close ya dodo...when he did get hit he allowed so he could get close enough to beat the shit out of sasuke
P.S. Minato is faster than the raikage

If Minato continually uses FTG to avoid Itachi's gaze then he wins...I might be out of line here but doesn't an ocular jutsu(sharingan) require you to see the enemy

minato is not fast,he just teleports from one kunai to another.im sure itachi can figure out a way to get rid of those teleporting kunai's easily. and plus minato doesnt have unlimited kunais with him so he is gonna have to eventually run out during battle.

yes,minato does know about the sharingans powerful genjutsu,everyone does but that doesnt stop them from falling into the genjutsu.kakashi knew about itachi's powerful genjutsu but he still got caught in it.orochimaru knew about itachi's genjutsu, he also got caught in it.samething for deidara and all the rest of the people who challenged itachi.so for all of you who say it is impossible for minato to get caught in itachi's genjutsu,are wrong.

susanoo can be used for a perfect defense.how will minato be able to get a hit at itachi? minato cant use rasengan or any other ninjutsu because susanoo's shield diminishes ninjutsu.and if minato trys to use reaper death seal,minato is gonna have to hold itachi in one spot like what he did to kurama and i doubt itachi is gonna let him do that especially with susanoo on his side.

minato cant summon the toads because itachi can easily take them down with susanoo's blade just like he did when orochimaru appeared during the fight between him and sasuke.the toads are just gonna be useless.

if jiraiya didnt know about amaterasu then i believe minato doesnt know about it as well, which would give itachi a big advantage.itachi can catch minato with amaterasu easily especially when minato is not alert of it.sasuke caught tobi and the raikage with it when they werent cautious so i believe itachi can definetely do it to minato.

the only reason itachi had low stamina at the time when fighting sasuke was because he stopped taking his medication. who knows...itachi's stamina could have been three times as better with that medication so no one really can base how much stamina itachi has on that fight between him and sasuke.

they both are my favorite characters in naruto, so im not basing my thoughts on favoritism here. i just believe itachi would win. besides no one here have seen itachi try to kill someone before. he is always holding back in all of his fights.and that just gives me the chills because he could be twice as nice without holding back.

Minato is not as smart as itachi, infact he is alot like obito in the fact that besides basic ninjutsu, and taijutsu and high intellect he uses one cheap jutsu to beat his foes. It doesnt take much skill to phase out of attacks or teleport when your about to be beaten. Anyway here are my points
1. Itachi would not be unaware that he was tagged by minato
2. Being a member of the anbu it is invalid to state that itachi didnt know alot about minato, he most likely knew extremely alot about any high ranking ninja like him, including his jutsu's, strengths and statistics.
3. Since he knows about minato's kunai he would not allow minato to surprise him when teleporting.
4. If he summons toads then itachi's susanoo can seal them away.
5. Minato has little knowledge of the mangekyo sharingan, and when studying madara and kakashi/obito it seems that each sharingan has different jutsu's for each eye so itachi and sasukes may full well be completely original jutsus.
6. Minato most likely would not be looking down when trusting a rasengan and it would be simple for itachi to get him in tsukuyomi

So the solution to the problem is Minato appearing and disappearing all over the battle field rather than actually attacking? That would be hilarious. What would he do with his Space/time Barrier? It's not like Obito's Kamui dimension, if people believe that then their fanboyish is laughable. Not only does it require 5 hand seals, and a kunai, but, it also requires him to stand perfectly still to teleport the absorbed attack else where:

This means he can't move while doing this. This is all Itachi needs to take him out with any of his kaleidoscope techniques: Sussano Sword, Magatama, and tsukiyomi. Also, this avoid his eyes is a funny tactic. If he doesn't look in his eyes, how will he see Amatersu coming? And Itachi can cast a very powerful genjutsu with his fingers as well. And if he looks into his eyes to know about Amatersu, he gets trapped in Tsukiyomi. He gets killed BOTH ways.

His FTG is useless without tags and FTG kunais, and he would need god knows how many to dodge Magatama, sword, and Amatersu. Itachi wins this mid-difference. He also has no way around Itachi's Yata mirror as well. To think that his so-called speed would do everything is a silly logic. The guy loses.
