[Discussion] So what is the new top 3?

Top 3? That's abfan construct ppl liked to make. If you look at the numbers there is no consistent top 3 and never really was. OP was always top 1 by far, the 2nd and 3rd place kept changing, closest to a consistent 2nd place came naruto but was never there long enough to solidify, after that came SNK but it too has competition.

If we include finished series we get a top 2 in One Piece and DB, the rest is lagging far behind

OP, Naruto and Bleach to be that lucky is because they have been a part of most of the fans childhood nostalgia and not because they are so incredibly awesome.

Is Vagabond still ongoing? The last translated chapter was more than one year and half ago. Is published if Japan and not translated anymore?

I think they were lucky to run in the same time. This made all three better. Nostalgia doesn't bring and keep enough fans, the three are great shounen manga.

My top 3 mangas are Vagabond, Naruto and OP.

The top 3 always will be the top 3. I don't think any manga reached that level yet. They need to be strong enough to last few years before can take the spot. As too many manga is closing in the spot can't really pick one.
