If Naruto did die the only problem I would have is not seeing he do a lot of stuff as Hokage because to me it seems as if when Naruto became Hokage Kishimoto started focusing on other stuff more than the fact that Naruto reached his goal. Like we barely got to see him in action as hokage.It was like Naruto being hokage became a side thing or something of less important value.

Well you aren't wrong about this. It was intentional though. Kishi was shifting the focus on the new gen, this Hokage Naruto is no longer the main protagonist but his son is. Meaning Naruto and Sasuke are side characters now so anything he does/did as Hokage will be just as you stated: a side thing.

Yea that's understandable but even before that like the last chapter of Naruto...it was centered around pairings. So I was like wtf?
