Itachi could have told Hiruzen that Danzo stole Shisui's eye , thus getting Danzo arrested then use Shisui's left eye on his father ( Shisui's original plan ) and abort the coup.

Kishi is acting as a supervisor to the series and considers the Boruto serialization to be part of the main series.

On topic, it's sad that Naruto has died, but it can work if his death is done in the appropriate way. Naruto dying might lead the way for Boruto and the next generation to take up the mantle and change. Kishi as a writer has made it clear that no such thing as a utopia exists. That's why Naruto, even as an adult struggled with the answer to true peace.

Its obvious that kishi is just a name. Like Michael Jordan to Air Jordan shoes. They know full well without his name you people wont consider it canon.
