Back on the days where Sasuke first said he needed to get ready for his Rinnegan to work some people tried to find a bright side and stated that that was for Amaterasu.
And I'm somehow okay with that since every fan would want to see an okay side but I made a thread proving how the hand seal he used is not related to any Amaterasu tech based on the hand seals Itachi used to knead Amaterasu.

Sasuke fans ( I'm not going to call names ) called me a hater for proving that and said that he used the seal to recharge his chakra because BZ/Kaguya sucked it all.
Statement which in itself is illogical because he didn't show extreme fatigue signs and Sasuke is the reincarnation of Indra.
He is supposed to have potent chakra and big reserves otherwise we would see him laying down trying to recharge his chakra.
Just like Madara who was said to have exceptional chakra levels it is only rational that him receiving Indra's chakra firsthand from Hagoromo has the capacity for exceptional chakra reserves.

This chapter confirmed it again. Both translations state the same thing and I hope there are not anymore people who deny such an obvious fact.

Chapter 682 showed Sasuke stating that he needed his Rinnegan eye to be ready and knead chakra in order to be used.

There was some speculation that Sasuke needed due to using Amaterasu but that makes things more doubtful since Sasuke has never been shown to use seals for Amaterasu neither was he shown to be out of chakra so he needed to perform seals to increase his chakra flow.

Notice the difference how for Amaterasu you need a Hijutsu (Ram) hand seal in order to knead Enton while Sasuke used a Tora (Tiger) seal. This does confirm that Sasuke needs to charge up chakra in his eye for some time in order to use his S/T again

Well I'm going with the scan who at least has Sasukes Rinnegan on the left side. He claims it still doesn't work meaning his Rinnegan does require prep. The problem is inconsitency where Sasuke has used it back to back but others times needed to prep it. So I'm guessing the charge time only has something more to do with his stamina or a fighting dragging out.

a cool down doesnt immediately have to take effect after 1 use. it could be 3-4 uses before it cant be used for some time.

He can use his ability 3 times before he has to reste and use the seal. He has 9 tomoe rinnegan. When he uses his S/T the first time it becomes a 6 tomoe rinnegan then when he uses the 2nd time i becomes a 6 tomoe rinnegan after using it the third time he needs to recharge it in order to use it again.

but that would indicate that sasuke has poor chakra reserves and can fight as long as itachi or shorter. it looks better for him if it needs to be recharged then him using up his chakra after a couple uses
