Look at the whole situation.Sakura leaves Konoha,goes to a whole other country and confesses to Naruto.Was it just for that? Naruto questioned her and she lied to him saying it was acting as if she was over Sasuke,and only came to the Iron Country to tell Naruto she likes him.Naruto knew she was lying,that she had ulterior motives,and wasn't over Sasuke,yet she lied and acted like she was.

That's why he said,"I hate people who lie to themselves."And what else do we know? Sakura clearly lied to Naruto,she wasn't only there to confess,she planned on killing Sasuke.

If anything he trolled NH,considering he never gave a single panel in 700 chapters of Naruto showing any romantic interest in Hinata,they weren't even shown together in chapter 700.

The only way NH can see NaruHina as a couple is in The Last,and perhaps the Mini Series which isn't even part of the main manga,like continue with the title of,"Chapter 701 - The New Generation",instead it's getting it's own manga and title.
