If put into Naruto's position, Sasuke would kill Pain much quicker due to his unavoidable Amaterasu and Susanoo arrows, which let him take out the other paths before Deva recovers. Even if he does recover. If he's by himself he gets raped since he can deflect one arrow, but not the next.

Naruto would beat Danzo.

Preta Path can't move fast enough to intercept any arrows targeted at any paths, same with Amaterasu. So its not the answer. To take out Preta he can protect himself with Susanoo and fight with normal weapons, like his sword. Taking out the rest takes only one Susanoo arrow. and I'm pretty sure Katsuyu is there to give him intel. Taking out Animal Path before she's summoned is simple, and even if its after he's summoned. If he uses the hawk, he can fly in the air, and use Amaterasu on it there, and then all the summons vanish.

And as for naruto's situation, I'm inclined to say Danzo beats him thanks to Izanagi. Hard to say

Pain Stomps Sasuke. Preta Path would render everything sasuke has as useless. And Sasuke has no way to deal with multiple summoning spams. A constant overuse of susanoo and amaterasu would drain his chakra and damage his eyes.
