itachi fanboys u r just like sasuke fanboys , u rate him like hes the sage of 6 paths , just cus he has the yata mirror for his susanoo , well if u can pull him out of thje susanoo he is about as strong as kakashi of which jiraiya can easily take down in base form , only having to worry about tsukoyomi of which the toads can then attack itachi and either kill him or get jiraiya out of the genjutsu , and raikage with low level raiton charged armour can dodge amaterasu , which is about as fast as SM jiraiya , itachi will only win if he spams amaterasu and jiraiya has no sealing scrolls

Alright im so tired of looking at people saying these things about jiraiya and itachi, itachi is beast but so is jiraiya.

My 3 favorite ninja are Jiraiya, Oonoki and Kakashi.

Well if we look at itachi, he defeated Deidara and Orochimaru. Deidara lost, he did'nt know who he was up against and deidara was'nt in his prime or anything (Itachi takes that easy), Oro well i dont have much to say there, it was not really a battle, kinda like a stareing contest lol jk.

Well itachi would have beaten sasuke in that battle if he was'nt sick. Itachi is a true power almost unmatched by many.

Now Jiraiya:

Jiraiya vs. Oro
All we know is the battle where jiraiya was poisoned and oro could'nt use jutsu. Well all battles as we know jiraiya have not used SM on oro, why my guess is he still wanted to get him back. Jiraiya would win over oro, it is already stated more than once in narutobase by many people, i cant find the thread.
Jman vs. pein, well we all know this battle and pein said jman would win if he knew his secret, i for once dont really believe that, but he took down 3 bodies and one body twice, also he is seriously fast in SM which he is in this thread, and if it was'nt for pein's linked eyes, his bodies would have been recked first moment jiraiya attacked.
Jiraiya is seriously strong and his title is Sannin and he is a Sage and considered for the title of hokage.

Alright Jiraiya is incredible fast and has many jutsu's and in SM i believe he could out run amaterasu and he knows about the uchiha and their genjutsu so dont count on him getting caught in genjutsu that easy, everyone says genjutsu beats jiraiya, still do you really think he gets caught that easily?
Also we got itachi's susanoo well how to handle it, you can still fight the susanoo, proved more than once, so either jiraiya have to use oodoma rasengan and many other jutsu to break through it, while he protects himself, also if he figures out susanoo's weakness while itachi is in it, he losses.

They are both strong and i can keep comming with reasons why jiraiya wins over itachi, so many people keep talking about itachi's genjutsu but keep in mind jiraiya and itachi met before and he knows about genjutsu and the uchiha's powers plus you can't win a battle just in genjutsu. itachi is not overrated or underrated i believe his genjutsu is overrated and in that way itachi.

Alright here goes:

Jiraiya vs Susanoo: susanoo can be beaten by strength or if you know its weakness which jiraiya should be able to figure out while protecting himself in SM.

Jiraiya vs Amaterasu: well he can outrun it, its possible shown by sasuke and SM is faster than amaterasu, so jiraiya wins over amaterasu, plus he can just reverse summon himself away from the battle.

Jiraiya vs genjutsu, he wont fall for that easily!! all i have to say.

Itachi is low on stamina compared to jiraiya, and jiraiya is proved great with shadow clones to protect himself against genjutsu and other attacks.

Conclusion itachi is very powerful but Jiraiya is stronger and more skilled.

Jiraiya wins this, sorry to say it itachi fanboys. (Not trying to offend anyone, just stating facts and my believes)

itachi stalemates with base jiraiya , jiraiya is too fast for amaterasu , too much chakra for tsukoyomi and ma and pa can get itachi in genjutsu and disturb a genjutsu , on top of that susanoo is uselfes because ma has that crazy tongue that can pull itachi out of susanoo , making him defenceless , jiraiya stomps with low difficulty , not cus hes much stronger , but because fire+wind = big fire , similar to SM+mangekyo = easy match

the toads can pull itachi out of susanoo , and break jiraiya out of tsukoyomi , jiraiyas too fast to be caught by amaterasu and his taijutsu can easily kill itachi with 1 kick , i mean jiraiya sent 1 of the pains flying 200 metres or so , and also itachi would run out of chakra and stamina so quickly ,
jiraiya rapes , not cus of strength but because itachi is a perfect match , in a way that fire+wind=BIG FIRE

1. toads cant pull itachi out of susanoo.
2. tsukiyomi last only one second in real world, toads wouldnt have time to pump their chakra into jiraiya. before toads would realize wha is happening, jiraiyas mind would be long raped
3. jiraiya is nowhere near when it comes to speed if you compare him with raikage raiton armor lvl2, hes not fast enough to escape sharingans eyesight, ama is deadly for him
4. like i said, itachi can take control over every jiraiyas summon via sharingan, entering sm is suicide for jiraiya, since toads are on his arms

Itachi doesn't stand a chance against Jiraiya. With sage mode he's like ssj4 Gogeta, one finger with senninchakra is enough to blow away the whole world, jiraiya will even crush yatas mirror in thousands of fragments. Tsukuyomi only take one second, but we're talking about Jman, fukasaku and shima broke Tsukuyomi easily and catch a high level Sharinganuser in a genjutsu to destroy his mind.

Amaterasu? No chance, damn we're talking about Jman. Susanoo is not the matter, Jman will crush it with his Sennin moves, he's about Gogetas level, so i don't think that a talented Uchiha and Mangekyou carrier would stand a chance against this divine power.

-> Tsukuyomi lasts only for a blink of an eye in the real wolrd. Good look for Ma and Pa. And if we talk about summons, like I already said:
