I'll agree, it's not completely unrelated as having Six Paths Chakra (which Sasuke has) and Six Paths Sage Mode are related, but the Databook Entry was focusing solely on a Rikudou Power associated with Rikudou Senjutsu and highlights characteristics only exclusive to Rikudou Senjutsu. The images themselves are supposed to represent what the user can do with the specific technique is being highlighted here which in this case, is Rikudou Senjutsu. While both are connected, Rikudou Senjutsu has characteristics that people with Six Paths Chakra normally do not have.

Well, Naruto couldn't have been in "Base" in the first place because his mode here:

Is different from here:

I also don't think it can be just regular Sage Mode along with Rikudou's Chakra as that seems to resemble this:

Which is different than the mode he used against JJ Madara (Pre-Shinju). This is personally why it seems as if Naruto is using RSM w/o the Bijuu's Chakra. When he manifests the cloak, he's using Kurama's Bijuu Mode along with Rikudou Senjutsu which would give him superior stats overall of course.
Perhaps we differ most on the definition of "Six Paths Senjutsu". Does the Databook talk about it specifically and where? I just thought you were referring to Six Paths chakra, since it already "contains" nature energy (which is why Sasuke could use Black Chidori). I won't be able to group everything together until I'm sure of what that means.

As for the last paragraph, my problem is believing that using Kurama's cloak and the Six Paths Sage Mode at the same time is rather conflicting. It would infer that ten-tails' hosts are using both the Six Paths Sage Mode and some sort of Tailed Beast mode themselves, but they're in fact just using the former. Even the Databook says the Six Paths Sage Mode surpasses Kurama Mode so they shouldn't supplement each other.

@ bold no...the mode comes from hagoromo's chakra...you know the guy who used six paths senjutsu even before becoming the jinchuriki of ten tails...OBITO was the one who made naruto the meeting point for all the tailed beasts...hagoromo just told them what would be going on from now on...he did nothing special to naruto involving the tailed beasts at all...he just gave naruto his chakra

It was never stated Hagoromo had the Six Paths Sage Mode before becoming a ten-tails' host. If you're referring to his staff, there's no evidence of it being a Truth-Seeking Sphere. Obito also did not make Naruto the meeting place, he simply gave him the rest of the Tailed Beasts' chakra. Hagoromo had to bring everyone to the deep conscious and verify. You can't put aside the fact that Naruto and Sasuke both had the requirements for their powers before meeting Hagoromo. Naruto the chakra of the Tailed Beasts and Sasuke the DNA/chakra of Hashirama.

- you must be joking...hagoromo displayed truth seeking balls before becoming the jinchuriki of ten tails...see chapter 680

- his staff IS mae out of truth seeking balls...just like obito and madara and naruto showed...and proved

- if you are referring to the tailed beasts manifesting in naruto THAT HAPPENED EVEN BEFORE HE MET HAGOROMO...now you are just making shit up as you type

Seems he does then. His chakra is very close to Kaguya's though since the only chakra genes came from her so it's comparable to having the ten-tails' chakra. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that the Tailed Beasts probably played a role in him attaining the mode. Why would Obito have any interest in giving Naruto the complete set if it had no benefits? Sasuke's Rinnegan would have been a regular one without Hagoromo's help and Naruto would have had some weaker form of Six Paths Sage Mode if not the full thing without Hagoromo's help.

no it did not...since tailed beasts were created after hagoromo displaed six paths senjutsu...meaning you are dead wrong.

obito did not know jack shit about naruto being able to attain six paths senjutsu...obito stated that he knew naruto lacked more tailed beast powers...he also know naruto had chakra from all but the 1 and 8 tails...meaning obito had no idea that naruto gaining the chakra of all tailed beasts means gaining six paths sage mode...meaning you are once again dead wrong.

remember when obito pulled the 1 and 8 tails from madara uchiha?...madara specifically stated that obito pulled tailed beast chakra AND SAGE POWER from him SEPERATELY...once again proving that six paths senjutsu has nothing to do with the tailed beasts.

kishimoto even stated in databook 4 that attaining the power of all 9 tailed beasts is the same as attaining the power of the sage of six paths meaning six paths senjutsu and tailed beast power is SEPERATE...see the six paths ten tails coffin seal datatbook entry.

Becoming a Ten Tails' jinchuriki and obtaining Six Paths Sage Mode both grant Six Paths Senjutsu. That's where the similarities end.

A Ten Tails' jinchuriki possesses firepower on the level of 4 supercharged Ten Tails' Bijudama as well as being able to make constructs that can withstand that level of firepower.

Six Paths Sage Mode is just someone becoming a vessel for all 9 separate Biju, which gives them a pseudo-Ten Tails' jinchuriki state.

The firepower is basically determined by the power of the 9 Biju which is <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Ten Tails.

Also, the people saying that Naruto used Six Paths senjutsu without the Biju are clearly idiots.

What part about Naruto having Kurama's fox slits in his eyes, so he is still using the Biju's power is so hard to comprehend?

Except having Kurama's slit isn't evidence that he's using the other Bijuu's chakra.

He used Son Goku's chakra. Not sure how obvious the author can make this. There is a serious mental deficiency among the fanbase if they think that Biju have nothing to do with anything.

K and Kurama's slit has nothing to do with him using the other Bijuu's Chakra.

The fact that he asked for Son Goku's chakra is enough to suggest that he's not actively using it.

Him not actively using it for jutsu has to do with what? This doesn't even matter since he had to ask Kurama for chakra to form Bijudama Rasenshuriken.

What's next? He wasn't using Kurama's power either?

Except each time Naruto has used a BDFRS, he didn't need to ask for Kurama's chakra. The first time it was required likely because it was the first time he was using a TSB as the base of their technique.

Aside from that, each time he used a Bijuu's KKG, he needed to ask for their cooperation and chakra ahead of time. There was never a moment where Naruto didn't need their cooperation before using their techniques like it was for Kurama.

But as you said, Kurama's slit is an indication of using the Bijuu's chakra even though Kurama's slit is exclusive to Kurama's Jinchuuriki only.

The bold is an assumption and an unsupported one. Kurama simply lent him enough chakra to use multiple Bijudama Rasenshuriken, not just one.
Despite already possessing Kurama's power, he still asked Kurama to hand off chakra to him. That ends all discussion on that point.

While being stated to possess the power of every Biju, when they manifested in physical form, Naruto asked them to lend him chakra.

Naruto is asking the Biju for their chakra because even though their powers are channeled through a single medium, they are still separate entities working together.
There is no deeper meaning to it.
