I agree, there's not really anyway minato could handle all that power, he would teleport to do rasengan and would get shinra tenseied or whatever....or absorb his attack and immediately start draining his chakra, and since he's not known to have sage mode than there's no possibility he could do what naruto did.

Well it doesnt only include fanbase, minato was hokage so ppl know that he gotta be strong, at point he was chosen 3rd was about 50, younger than jiraya or tsunade and still minato was stronger than him, and 3rd has been hailed as god of shinobi, that already proves that Minato needs to be very strong. Minato was also youngest hokage, and 3rd by himself fought 1st and second, and was very old that time, minato would have pwnd that fight.

not to mention a mere rasengan only paralyze the path for a while, like what happen to naraka path which is shown completely fine, when animal path summon all the path before deva wreck konoha

I feel like minato could defeat all six paths, but probably couldn't find out where minato was. Also, it is unknown as to whether minato could enter sage mode because we know very few of his jutsu other than ftg and rasengan. That being said, he does have all of the toad summons at his disposal to handle the other summons. I feel that deva path would not be the most difficult for him to fight given that five second gaps are an incredibly long amount of time for someone who can move at the speed of sound and minato would easily be able to get an attack in. that being said, we still have several other paths to go through, including one that will resurrect the other paths. I feel like he could take the missles and the chakra absorbtion guy, but a dude that steals souls seems like a bit much. Also, as far as we know (which is not very much on minato), unless he can go into sage mode, he doesn't seem to have a good way to find nagato, as someone mentioned earlier. However, because we have such little battle information on minato, i don't think its intelligible to have as many conversations of "minato vs ____" as we seem to end up having because we just don't have enough info. I'm sure he knows many more jutsu, but what are they? how good are they? I doubt we'll ever know.

What i will say for now is that nagato has a stupidly high chakra level. If he was to summon all 8 of his summonings, minato would have to counter this and summon just as much toads to counter peins summonings.

Now minato might have a large chakra himself, but isnt in the same league as pein. We know that depending on your the size and quantity of your summonings that alone can take up 3/4 of your chakra supply.

If minato was to summon 8 toads to counter peins, he would be low on chakra even before he can fight the 6 paths U_U

Minato

Because he has speed that would allow him to evade almost all of Pains attacks.
Also, he has an aptitude for sealing. When he sees the Pains coming back, he'll begin to seal them instead of killing.

Teleportation is too good against Pain.

Would be a tough fight. Minato would win though imo.

i don't think minato can summon more than 1 toad since even j-man never do that ecxept when he try to enter SM and have fukusaku and shima help him enter SM

only kakashi,oro and nagato has shown summon more than 1 animal

reason for it is because nagato said himself without the secrets of pain they would of lost and the reason for j even losing is because he was trying to find out the secrets of pain instead of his abilities. if it was the battle of just abilities j man would of won. skills and techniques are found when battling someone on the field.

i don't think that pain could handle the speed of minato's. just like kabuto says they lack mobility. though their jutsu would be overwhelming but if minato can pick them off like j man i think it's over.

Yeah, ofcourse he is strong but just how strong he is, its unknown, well we can know that he is stronger than the third when he was 50 years, but that doesnt tell us much cause we dont even know how stong third was when he was younger
