I honestly think Sasuke becoming a good guy because of Hashirama ruined most of the series. I'd much rather have had Sasuke become good from the battle with Naruto. So, I guess Sasuke isn't the reincarnation of Indra.

Naruto and Sasuke still have a score to settle. At this point, Sasuke won't accept it if he can't become Hokage, and Naruto won't allow Sasuke to become Hokage until Sasuke acknowledges and is acknowledged by the villagers.

Interesting point, but I got stumped on it a little bit as well. After some thought, I figured that Indra's reincarnation only actually comes into his own once he takes the eyes of his brother.

Because Sasuke has been using people from the get go. He used Lee's speed, Kakashi's Chidori, Hebi/Taka, etc but Indra walked alone. Granted their both geniuses, but Sasuke has been cooperating to further his means the whole time.

Indra seems more like Madara or Itachi from the little we know. Perhaps there's more to Indra than this. Is Sasuke meeting RS brother you think? Just spitballing.

I'm pretty sure Indra still learned from the Sage while he was young..... After then he did everything on his own after developing, you're taking Indra's solitude too literal to Sasuke right now. Sasuke pretty much built his abilities and advantages mostly on his own, sure he's had some help along the way, but everything was developed through his intelligence, he used people more than actually wanted their help. The power of manipulation and the Sharingan....



No matter how much anyone doesn't wanna admit it Sasuke is Indra's current reincarnation. Technically, Madara's been dead. So we know he's no longer the reincarnation. Itachi isn't either, he held the values of Ashura more than Indra's.

Madara was supposed 2 be dead a long time ago bt lived inside the Gedo Statue, and i believe Hashirama was the reincarnation of Ashura just like Naruto is!!!

Why do people think that Sasuke's ideals contradict Indra's? BEFORE his meeting with Hashirama, his ideals were different from Indra but NOW Sasuke's ideals are just like Indra. Sasuke wants to protect Konoha by becoming Hokage just as Indra wanted to establish peace by becoming the leader. Previously, Sasuke wanted to destroy Konoha but Indra never thought of destroying his father's will of peace. He just wanted himself to be the leader like Sasuke's CURRENT will. They both believe that anything is possible with power. So Sasuke's former ideals were NOT like Indra's but NOW they are. Madara only wants to tame the world with genjutsu because he believes that neither power nor love can bring true peace, whereas Indra believed that peace can be established through might. So Sasuke is more like Indra than Madara...

I think that Naruto and sasuke are the reincarnations of the sage of the six paths sons and that threw will have to work together, the way the original incarnations should have, to defeat Madara. But who know he may take in a totally different direction. Lol

Firstly,Kishimoto has taken these names from 'Hindu' mythology; Indra was the king of the gods and the Asuras were depicted to be the ones that had created havoc on Earth. Therefore as these two entities are opposites and so are Naruto and Sasuke,this theory is plausible if not true.
