Anyways people are acting as if Indra trained himself or he was popping PS at the beginning of birth. Of course he trained as well and someone had to train him. Sasuke fits Indra's role perfectly. People are just making it more complicated than it is and we know how that turns out.

Madara isn't Indra, because this wouldn't make too much sense, considering that as we can obviously conclude from the Sage's apparent intentions. As it is clear from what was already said, the Sage wants to see his sons on the same side in the hope to stop the war. As the hero tales never end bad, and as Madara will surely not change his mind, he won't join with Naruto, therefore it must be Sasuke the elder. The latter has already joined with Naruto and worked together but didn't stick together. Sasuke's selfishness and vanity didn't let him ask for help. He thought of him as the hero saving the situation and wanted to show the Naruto didn't compare to him, as he did in the past.

The sage said naruto wasn't dead yet, so I'm thinking this is probably a time lapse from when kurama got taken from naruto. Sasuke might as well meet up with the sage. Why wouldn't he? The sage said that he always checks on the current incarnates of his kids.

You are still denying the fact that Sasuke always says himself... that he always walk his path in the darkness as if he is represented as a moon... same as Indra. Sasuke and Naruto are fated to clash with each other and neither of them can live alone without another. This has been a recurring theme in this manga. Yin/Yang... Light and Darkness... and now Sun and Moon Ashura and Indra. It's pretty obvious that Kishi wants to illustrate the reincarnation of Indra and Andura in Sasuke and Naruto.

Indra seems more like Madara or Itachi from the little we know. Perhaps there's more to Indra than this. Is Sasuke meeting RS brother you think? Just spitballing.

Sasuke resembles to Indra in characteristics more than any other character. Copying Lee's taijutsu, training for speed similar to Lee and learning Chidori from Kakashi is not called 'using people'. Indra also learned Ninshuu from his father, and learning jutsus was easier for him because he had the Sharingan with which he copy jutsus and moves, just like Sasuke. So what point are you trying to make here?
Yeah, you're right, Indra did walk alone. That's because he was the strongest person of his time, but Sasuke had to face a lot of opponents who were stronger than him (Sasuke is just 16-17 yrs). So, if Indra were in a situaton like Sasuke, he too would have required a team.

Sasuke has the intellect to know when/how to use people, and does so to further his own ambitions. Naruto needs to basically stumble onto assistance from others by winning their respect and thus receiving their friendship. Typically, Naruto strives to achieve ends beyond his own ambitions, acting to protect others.

Indra didn't literally do everything on his own; that interpretation is too literal. He simply had a lot of natural power/intelligence and could learn/adapt naturally and quickly.

I honestly think Sasuke becoming a good guy because of Hashirama ruined most of the series. I'd much rather have had Sasuke become good from the battle with Naruto. So, I guess Sasuke isn't the reincarnation of Indra.

it is very simple.. re-incarnations of indra and ashura has been happening from generations to generations..

because in the plot of naruto series, there's always been a PROTAGONIST and a DEUTERAGONIST..
1. Madara and Hashirama
2. Naruto and Sasuke

Sasuke had used the ability of his Kekkai Genkai to copy a technique(Kakashi and Itachi have done it too). Afterwards he learned a new Jutsu from Kakashi and developed on his own even further. If you would re-read the manga you would also realise that even Orochimaru didn't know Chidori Eisō and so on till his first "death".

Unlike Itachi Sasuke invented most of his Jutsu of his own. He perfected the Genjutsu of the Sharingan(Magen Kasegui no Jutsu; Iatsu Sharingan; Genjutsu: Sharingan) and the abilities of the Mangekyo Sharingan in the blink of an eye too. Orochimarus influence regarding Sasukes training for the Sharingan was minor. Itachi on the other hand was promoted by the Uchiha-Clan and afterwards by Obito. I dare to say that Itachi was the indirect student of Madara Uchiha, because Madara had taught Obito all about the Uchihas Jutsu/Kinjutsu(chapter 606) and Obito passed down that knowledge to Itachi. Itachi learned for many years from Obito. Itachi admitted it. Sasuke made mistakes, sure. However, he is in my opinion without a doubt the most talented Uchiha and will be like Indra in the future.

Madara had his Clan and brother too. In comparison with Hebi/Taka the difference is bigger than most people would expect. Sasuke uses especially Karin for abilities he can't compensate on his own. Even Orochimaru had considered him a genius and he's the deuteragonist. It was clear since chapter two that Sasuke will be the strongest Uchiha(if we exclude some random guy, who has Jūbi inside him).
