Because Sasuke has been using people from the get go. He used Lee's speed, Kakashi's Chidori, Hebi/Taka, etc but Indra walked alone. Granted their both geniuses, but Sasuke has been cooperating to further his means the whole time.

Indra seems more like Madara or Itachi from the little we know. Perhaps there's more to Indra than this. Is Sasuke meeting RS brother you think? Just spitballing.

My friend showed me sasukes naruto wiki page after the chapter was released-they even took note of this. Also, you are right. Sasuke worked well with hebi/taka until the kage summit when he went completely insane. I think he does work with people,but is selfish at the same time.

The sage's brother has nothing to do with the older and younger son of the sage. I also think that the Hyuga descended from the sage's brother.

this doesn't sound far-fetched. I think what the sage is trying to get across is that both need to work together (like Ashura and Indra should have done) in order to defeat the ten-tails. One person can't do it alone, considering the sage itself couldn't even defeat it by himself.

Just because you're the reincarnation of something doesn't mean you'll be exactly like the person. Ashura was a flunk just because he was a flunk. Naruto was a flunk for reasons that wasn't his fault. No proper training at home cause he had no parents, he had the nine tails which made chakra control way too hard for him. In actuality Naruto had crap loads of potential the dude mastered sage mode more than Jiraiya did AND Naruto had the nine tails which was a set back he was able to climb the trees at the same pace as Sasuke even though his chakra control was worst than Sasuke's.

Sasuke has asked for help but that really isn't the point. Sasuke prefers to do things alone just like Indra does. He'll only ask if he absolutely needs it. I.e Madara needing Obito.

I would be in disbelief if Madara was Indra's reincarnation. I mean people have been saying that the Toad referenced the young man with powerful eyes as Obito, if Madara is Indra's reincarnation as many are now saying. Where does Sasuke fit in the mold? I hope Sasuke gets to meet the Sage.
