I have given my seat to women and MEN ( elderly/infirm) and girls have given me seat when I had a baby with me. So...as I said it depends.

Ya it depends. Also considering I ride with mostly working class people, I am perhaps expecting too much.

No, women know the risk of there not being enough seat available when going out. And if that pregnant, to where you need a seat, you shouldn't be out in the first place.
