Should the teaching of unique abilities/jutsus be limited?

Sometimes I wonder if we should restart the RP in general and have a fresh go at it with an academy or something. You have some good points.

Edit: Lgray, you bring up a great point there. I saw two people in the same match once trying to summon Gamabunta.

That wouldn't happen because the senior members have spent ages getting posts and training and would not agree. No offence, but If you had a few thousand more posts i would you still be suggesting this, i don't think so

I dont have sharingan, byakugan or any othe special abilities, and my summons are leopards... but I agree, people need to have a certain skill to have special techniques, not just say I have the skill on the Bio section. Not every Uchiha has the sharingan, and alot less has the MS

Well for me my only main specail abilities i don't have yet... Sage Mode is one of them but Summoning Wise i Have my Toads Well Because look im Jiraiya and seeing Gamabunta summond like 5-6 times a day is horrible.... But yes im Totaly supporting this ^ ^ i think its a grand idea.

I have thought of this so many times too, but not only all the work done here by everyone will be wasted, also none fighter here is not gonna like this idea.
But we can at least do what is suggested here and like everyone saw we are open to suggestions

Please everyone, if you are now using a new ability or a new mode, update your bios so your new abilities can be approved and then please post all your customs jutsus in the personal thread you already have here:

We will have to check all bios & jutsus to see if something must be classified as "special" or "unique" and that isn't easy at all so at least, make sure you are updating your personal info regularly.

Yes, everything has lost its uniqueness on the forums but what can you expect I guess. Because there will be that one certain person who likes that one ability or that one technique or that one summon but hates that character and wants their custom character to have it. I mean for the longest time my custom character had an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and no one truly had a problem with me having ice and the EMS but I had to drop one or the other with the bio rules and I dropped the Sharingan all together because I wanted to show people that you don't need a Doujutsu to be able to win a fight. Heck I have even shown that you don't need a "Mode" to beat someone else who is in a mode.

But yes everything has lost its uniqueness but what can you expect? people to say oh sure alright since there are this many of this I wont have that even though thats their favorite aspect of a clan, character, or anything?

Heck if we were going with the rules of Naruto there would only be Madara's and Sasuke's for Uchiha's, Hinata Neji and the others for Byakugan, etc. But this is what makes us so unique we have millions of uchiha's and byakugan users rin'negan users are popping up but only as Pain or Nagato or the Sage of the Six Paths.

As for KG's, Summons, and other things like that yes I would like to see how people have that as I put in my characters bio Zanji's bio that his grandmother was the head of the Hidden Snow and the KG passed on threw her daughter then onto Zanji.

All I request is that members don't only choose to have sth just because they saw someone use it and kicked a* with it because thats what kills it. For summons if you have the same summon dont even try to use the same summoning tech people should have their own. Because I have seen members go from not having a certain technique then once they saw someone use it or use a certain KG that person went and made a bio stating they have that technique which purely kills that techniques unique ability

so looks like soom change is gonna happen but first we need everyone to add unique/special stuff (summonings, kg's, rain jutsu, sealings, sage arts etc.) to their bios so if you havn't already please do so

Well, understand that it kinda sucks for the newbies, as they wanna have all the powerful KG. Also, I have Sharigan but hardly use it. I think some of the things should be limited... BTW, we opened the custom thread so you can make your own unique stuff... I tried to pick characters that other people would hardly use. I support this idea.

you need the uniqueness, without it it can become boring fast. and if the kgs and summons are limited people might try even harder with what they got,instead of going for what they think is the most powerful

i am not sure yet reasons:
1)i am a sharingan user and do not wish to loose that power..

2)it is a good idea but those of use who can learn the sage tech's may be deprived of our own tech's that we created that only use natural chakra...

No one will lose anyting they already have, the only change would be that less people learn sharingan in the future.
