What do you guys think? Should we have a continuation for the Naruto series with the new generation being focused?

No. Honestly, the story of Naruto is so far deluded from the old story that I enjoyed myself.

There's nothing new to explore, we've seen everything. I don't really care to see another person wanting to become Hokage, nor do I care to follow a boy who wants to follow in Sasuke's path, but at the same time he would never amount to anything Sasuke had to go through.

Lastly, the next generation don't intertwine with Naruto or Sasuke. They are too powerful, and any villains being Shin in example will only cause plot nerfs and stupidity for our Main Characters. You can't run a story well when the two old MC's are so powerful, especially when they can one shot anyone in existence at this point (bar Kaguya). BUT, if the Villains they introduce are powerful enough that they need Naruto and Sasuke, then the next generation gets cast away.

However I do like some of the characters, they are no way, shape, or form interesting enough for me to want a continuation. Part 1 characters shit on them anyway, that being Neji in example, or Rock Lee.

Not really but its very likely scenario. Honestly if kishi is gonna focus on more naruto content then I'd like to see him make a story about the otsutsuki clan or ashura & indra .

Yes but in a couple of years. Right now I don't think Kishi would do a good job with the new generation. He should take a break, work on his new manga and then he can work on it. If he did it now I feel like it'd be horribly done. The hard thing about writing for the new generation is that there needs to be a good plot. Everything in Naruto was wrapped up so perfectly. If Kishi comes back I want him to come back with some fresh new ideas.

I wouldn't mind, so it's a yes for me.

Funny, people that say no will still catch up on any new content Kishi will release on Naruto, and then further talk shit about something no one is forcing them to view.

The new generation doesn;t interest me much compare to Part 1 Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, Rock Lee, Gaara, Shikamaru, etc. So no I don't see the point of continuing when the series has basically covered everything we needed to see and at this point the story will just keep recycling which I have to give props to Kishi for something that he has mention in the interview.

I think there's a very fine line between wanting new content, and wanting good content.

They don't mix well, honestly, and both mean two different things. Some people still love Naruto, and then you have fan's who are skeptical and want content that at least offers something to the reader.

As for me, I'm a mix a both. I think it's best if the majority let the series go because I don't think any milking of the current Naruto is worth our time. At least the Boruto Movie ended on a high note.

Can you imagine Naruto ending with the Gaiden?

God no. Pre-series is where he should go next. Nobody cares about the future and peaceful times where aliens come down every now and then to reek havoc. lol.

Naruto has made its mark in the industry, If you enjoyed Naruto up until shippuden, no new content should take that away from you. Furthermore, fans today go into mangas (not just Naruto) with selfish mind frames of what they "think" the story should have went instead of just respecting the Authors point of view of how he wanted the story to go. You didn't like it, ok, respectfully state your opinion and move on. You didn't like it, stick around for current content and still b×tch about how you didn't like it, forget if what the author is producing is worth our time or not, it's a waste of your time to stick around some where you're not satisfied.
