Naruto has made its mark in the industry, If you enjoyed Naruto up until shippuden, no new content should take that away from you. Furthermore, fans today go into mangas (not just Naruto) with selfish mind frames of what they "think" the story should have went instead of just respecting the Authors point of view of how he wanted the story to go. You didn't like it, ok, respectfully state your opinion and move on. You didn't like it, stick around for current content and still ***** about how you didn't like, forget if what the author is producing is worth our time or not, it's a waste of your time to stick around some where you're not satisfied.
Naruto made it's mark in the industry, but it exploded from the beginning. It was extremely popular and steadily growing fast. In comparison to OPM which only started to receive the same treatment after the installment of the re-drawn series via person who also helped in Eye Shield 21 I believe.

Like I said before, it does. The biggest example to showcase this is the Naruto Gaiden itself. This was the first piece of new /Manga/ content since the series ended, and everyone was hopeful and excited for it. When the series released, people were skeptical with the whole drama with Sasuke's family, but ultimately it wasn't all that terrible considering we were introduced to next generation character who weren't all that bland.

But do you know what happened from that perspective as the series ended and reached it's climax? People were simply angry. They felt as if they had wasted their time, and for the most part nothing was explained either. What's worse is that Kishimoto explained before the series had started that it was a prologue for the Boruto: Naruto the Movie.

This isn't just opinion based on how the story should go, or how we think the story should go. It's about how the story can continue to capture the fan's of the series who have been following for years. You can't just follow a Naruto, or Sasuke story without some sort of plot there. When the plot is horrible, it ruins aspects of your character, and how you view the series in total (I-E: Naruto the Last).

The problem is whether or not Kishimoto can produce content for the Naruto series where he can still maintain a level headed story. Do you really want Naruto to end up like DBZ? I mean look at Gohan, bloody Gohan. He used to be one of the best characters of the franchise. and then he ended up worse than Piccolo.

I'm pointing out that a continuation of Naruto might do more harm than good. I mean it already has either-way.

Some people enjoyed Gaiden, others didn't. It's merely personal opinion from ones perspective, this applies to character depth. Some people hated the war arc, others didn't. In OP, some people enjoyed the dressrosa arc, others didn't. In Bleach, some people enjoyed the fullbringer arc, others didn't. In HXH, some people enjoyed the Greed Island arc, others didn't. Some people want to be suprised, or some people go into things with medium expectations, or some people go into things with high, narcissistic expectations which can lead to a huge disappointment if those expectations aren't full-filled. Being overly abritary wont bring enjoyment to anything you watch. The writing was on the wall toward the end in Naruto, expecting things to be how they use to be when the current content was pointing otherwise is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Funny you bring up DBZ XD, yes, I agree, Gohan is a shell of what he once was, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the character he once was, nor shut any doors for me to possibly enjoy him again in that light. In my opinion, I'm not that big of a fan of Dragon Ball Super, but it didnt drag down my perception of DBZ in general, mainly because I didn't expect anything huge out of it in the first place.

I think it should continue, but it should take some time, and he should put a fresh new spin on it. Don't make it all about being a ninja, hokage, etc. This is the future, and the world is at peace, until someone threatens it. Sasuke should go missing, Naruto should be gravely injured, basically take out the two strongest ninjas. Then the remaining kage should die, throwing the nations in uproar. There should be another tyrant leader, who turns things more chaotic, then the mastermind behind all the chaos. It'd be good I think, but that's just my POV.

No. Honestly, the story of Naruto is so far deluded from the old story that I enjoyed myself.

There's nothing new to explore, we've seen everything. I don't really care to see another person wanting to become Hokage, nor do I care to follow a boy who wants to follow in Sasuke's path, but at the same time he would never amount to anything Sasuke had to go through.

Lastly, the next generation don't intertwine with Naruto or Sasuke. They are too powerful, and any villains being Shin in example will only cause plot nerfs and stupidity for our Main Characters. You can't run a story well when the two old MC's are so powerful, especially when they can one shot anyone in existence at this point (bar Kaguya). BUT, if the Villains they introduce are powerful enough that they need Naruto and Sasuke, then the next generation gets cast away.

However I do like some of the characters, they are no way, shape, or form interesting enough for me to want a continuation. Part 1 characters shit on them anyway, that being Neji in example, or Rock Lee.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Nicely said.

For me Kishi is not interested in continuing Naruto series anymore. Why he need to focus on writing two different series(Sci-fi and naruto series) every months and years. If by writing Naruto series alone gave him hard life, now you all want or expect him to write two entirely different series(genre) and blow his old mind to create story idea.

This is the most perfect answer TBH.

HEEELLL NO.

If they want to continue the series and make it real good.. DON'T FOCUS ONLY ON KONOHA. Have the Main character be from some other country!

OR

Make a series of the history.

The "new generation" of Konoha mostly have horrible designs, and honestly aren't that intriguing. Give me a detailed Yahiko/Nagato story over them any day.

I think there's a very fine line between wanting new content, and wanting good content.

They don't mix well, honestly, and both mean two different things. Some people still love Naruto, and then you have fan's who are skeptical and want content that at least offers something to the reader.

As for me, I'm a mix a both. I think it's best if the majority let the series go because I don't think any milking of the current Naruto is worth our time. At least the Boruto Movie ended on a high note.

Can you imagine Naruto ending with the Gaiden?
Gaiden>Fodruto the Movie :Sparks:

Lol Yeah, but it's DBZ, it's very linear and easy to predict. Only thing I ironically didn't predict was Beerus and Goku destroying planets with fist exchanges alone.
Apparently it seems that currently, Vegeta is finally > to Goku, seeing as how he pushes Beerus to 60% of his full power, while Goku can only push him to 50%

Ty and Vegeta finally solo's
