[Debate] Should Fathers Have A Say In Abortion?

It's not about her, it's about the child.

Some may argue that she is the one carrying the child in her uterus for 9 months and should have the final word on the abortion.

True, but don't forget the woman carries the baby for nine months and all the pains of pregnancy its not easy. I am not taking a side i am just trying to be fair to both parties ok?

I am not for abortion in general, but I say the father should have a say. However it tends to be the man who wants the abortion the most isn't it? abortions tend to be the case when it was either a mistake or a rape in the case of rape the man shouldn't have a say, in the case of a relationship in which the man is infact dating or married (most likely dating a married couple that breaks the condom or something would probabaly just go alwell we're married anyway) the man should have a say if he disagrees with the abortion

The real question is, why do hospital staff / the law / society dismiss father's right to have a say in every circumstance? Rape I underdtand but there's no culture of involvement of father's at all.

The doctors wouldn't do anything without my consent. Even after they got the mothers.

No, statistically women want abortions more because they're scared. Guys don't have that say anyways so your post is all wrong, and I also agree to abortion if it was from rape. As long as the baby is aborted before its brain becomes active.

I never had a change of heart on this topic, I have always maintained and believed that a man has as much say in the matter and I heavily supported this viewpoint in multiple threads. How about next time you try to take a shot, make sure it's actually factual about the person. Or, you know, try not to let debates on a forum get you so in your feelings, a stranger leaves this bad a taste in your mouth that you have to stoop as low was being presumptuous to make your shot.
