I don't think he should have a say in it, and for several reasons. One, it's not his vagina, and he's not gonna be the one that's going to carry it for nine months. Two, we have enough stupid people on the planet as it is, and one night stand babies are sure as hell not gonna figure out the cure for cancer.
For the most part, yes.
If you read what I posted you'd notice that I wasn't exclusively referring to children who were born outside of marriage, nor did I state that every child born from inadequate circumstances have no potential to succeed in life. However, I do believe that most kids who are born into relationships where the parents aren't able to provide the necessary guidance don't go on to live a productive lifestyle, and don't do anything to contribute to society. This not only applies to parents, but certain parts of the world where things like poverty, food shortage, and war predominates the population. Now, if you would be so kind as to stand up from your computer, and pull that stick out of your ass I would greatly appreciate it. I'm entitled to my own opinion, and if you don't like it you can go pound sand for all I care. How many kids born from relationships have cured cancer? Oh yeah none.
Odds are by 2016 most kids will be born out of wed lock. Marriage doesn't mean shit to a lot of people anymore.
Leonardo da Vinci was born out of wed lock and he's one of the most talented geniuses of all time.
Ever hear of Confucius? Everyone else has.
The circumstances of someone's birth does not dictate their potential. Just because someone's parents might have been irresponsible or simply lacked a little in morals does not mean that they are any less or more likely to be intelligent or talented.
Now please stand up from your computer. Walk to the nearest wall. Then beat your head against it until the stupid falls out.
His sperm, his baby.
Of course the man should have say. Isn't that obvious?
Yes. To deny a father of his own son is insane and cruel, if the mother doesn't want it she should give it up to to the father if he wants it, to do otherwise is some what ****ed up.
what if it was a daughter? Freudian slip?
it's not a child yet and if a man wants to have a baby he shouldn't be out scoring with women for a night
he won't do anything during the pregnancy because I'm pretty sure that a woman who would be forced against her will to carry a child for someone else won't allow that man to get close to her
it's neither insane nor cruel all that father contributed to the child was to have *** (which I'm pretty sure he didn't mind), but the woman on the other hand would have to carry the baby for 9 months and go through a lot of ordeals, not to mention her life would never be the same again, it's a womans choice, her body, her choice, only the woman gets to decide weather that man gets a say in it, not you and not me
on the other hand forcing someone to let you use their body for 9 months because of something you want ... now THAT is cruel, not to mention all the social and psychological applications a pregnancy brings with it, career, relationships, quality of life, mental state, ...
no one should have even a remote right to be able to force someone else to let them use their body in any way
lol for a mother to deny the father of his child is cruel I don't see how you think otherwise, the women shouldn't get the only word, it should be mitual.
why should it be mutual if all the negatives are on the mothers side and all the gains on the fathers side? how is that fair?
also it's not a child yet, she's denying him the possibility to have a child and that is not cruel and even if someone thinks it is it is NOWHERE near as cruel as forcing a woman to let her body be used for 9 months and changing her life forever while she gains absolutely nothing
