Shino vs Gaara, Bug vs Sand.....i say shino will win

Thx for clarifying that the bugs can indeed suck any kind of chakra.
I haven't seen that part yet, although I'm kind of close on Shino vs Kankuro and I bet this is during Oro's attack in Part 1 if I'm not mistaken.
Anyhoos, I kind of seen Guren during the last part of Yukimaru arc in the anime, but I have no idea on the full extent of her abilities.
OTOH, I have high hopes of Gaara, and I must admit this is because he reached the kage level. For someone who get into that level, he surely must have belted some awesome abilities.
Shino vs Gaara, in my opinion, won't be an easy fight like Shino sucking out Gaara's.
Also, since bugs are more like living things, is may be possible the that the sand attack will crush them just before they can suck the attack itself. It may be possible for an instantaneous, dispersed sand attack (offensive)--like that of Sand drizzle. The only way the bugs can catch this if they have the speed and nimbleness (if there's such a word) that matches the tech.
Furthermore, it will also be a strategy battle, and both are good at making strategies IMO, so I can't really tell who's inferior to who.
@ Easy way to say Shino thinking of a plan and the plan might not work and he run out of chakra no more bugs for him as gaara have the sand to protect him and gaara do Sand Blade or Sand Tsunami that's it.
thats what deidara wanted and we have all sen how that ended out for gaara. so gaara cant just randomly attack a clan known for its tremendous and deadly attacks and defensive moves. deidara took the advantage of gaara using his sand to attack and i think for a guy who is super smarter than deidara will spot that downfall of gaara's attack.

Shino is a mystery even to this day. He could be at Neji's level or at Gaara's but who ever said Rock Lee can beat him explain please, because that's like saying Itachi can beat the fourth, we have not even seen Shino have a really fight since he was what 12 & we have never seen the fourth fight.
For me, the successive sand drizzle attacks is actually a good testing tech to see which extent the bugs keep up (defense of offense wise). The attack is dispersed and so are the capacity of the bugs to disperse. Of course, Gaara should not let his guard down whilst doing this.

It said that the death is so quick, so it's an ominous tech imo.But it will be hard time of Gaara to perform such jutsu since he needs to catch Shino (and not some bug clone) with it.
This will be more of "who has the better strategy". Gaara thinks better right now than before (during Oro's attack) since he's schizophrenic no more.
So, I believe he will prove match to Shino's tactics (other than that they are at par in terms of intelligence in the databook).
Another reason how Deidara caught Gaara off guard (other than Deidara outsmarted Gaara) is because Gaara was also thinking of his village as Deidara threatened to bomb it. He used a tremendous amount of chakra to shield the village. Thus, when Deidara made his last move, Gaara can no longer fend it off since he's totally out of chakra.
Indeed. His personality type is also too quiet, something that's unpredictable.

you are not understanding a crap im saying..gaara no longer have the tailed beast to give him chakra. when shino's bugs suck chakra out of gaara's sand or gaara himself that chakra becomes shino's own.
to tell you the truth i dont see gaara as a strategist as shino we have seen how shino can wickedly analyze an opponent just by smelling their chakra with his bugs and fighting with them only once. and we have never seen gaara make an analysis of an opponent that he fought before or during the fight.
but it is still an episode that can prove my point that gaara is in no league to be compared with shino now. cause im sure that gaara would have been battering on the floor the moment he began fighting guren.
