This discussion is moot if you cannot define what is and what is not gentle fist. Is it just the movements? is it the movements with the chakra expulsion? is it the movements with chakra expulsion that targets the tenketsus?
I think we can establish the sharingan can copy gentle fist.
For starters there are multiple instances the sharingan was used to analyze and/or copy taijutsu and kenjutsu abilities.
For example Sasuke when he copied Lee's taijutsu from his first battle with Lee and then again before the chunin exam where he fought Gaara.
Then we have Sarada who was able to analyze her opponents kenjutsu skill pattern and weave his attack at The last moment to deal a fatal blow.
Secondly, we know gentle fist can be learned regardless if you have the byakugan or not because Hinata went ahead and taught Boruto gentle fist taijutsu even though he didn't posses the byakugan.
So it's safe to say that the sharingan can copy any taijutsu style that's not the inner gates and this includes gentle fist.

Without first establishing what exactly Gentle Fist entails in its entirety there isn’t really a solid answer.
My best analysis:
The Sharingan can copy the Gentle Fist movements, but without chakra exerting ability and Byakugan to see the Kentetsu, it’s basically just copying the Hyuga Taijutsu style and not the true Gentle Fist which incorporates both the Byakugan AND the ability/training to expel/inject chakra into their opponent’s tenketsu.
With out all of these factors...Can we really call the copying of the movements alone Gentle Fist?
The subject is indeed valid , but Chidori is indeed emitted from the palm. CES doesn't emit its chakra which is why you could never see a CES user emit it from their whole body like Chidori stream.
I couldn't understand my own points the last time which i attribute to losing brain cells arguing with the fanfic member and the other one with weird fetishes.. but i do now.
The manga especially doesn't hint at Chidori being emitted consciously. The concentrated chakra is just so much and probably coupled with it being transformed to lightning, it becomes visible. [

If Sasuke had bijuu level chakra, then his full body chidori might have looked like the Raikage's

Gf is part KKG\hidden because you must have the ability have complete control over your chakra system and the ability to expel chakra from all of the points
Because at any time they can change the taijutsu style into anything they want they can switch it into muy thai
