Let me ask you. Would it make sense for someone to teach Boruto or himiwari gentle fist if they never awakened the byakugan. A kkg is an ability inherited by blood and can't be taught unless they have the genetics.

It was never guarantee Boruto or himi would awaken dojutsu but they were taught despite of this and that is the main point I'm bringing to the table.

Honestly being half breed isn't really a valid argument unless we're talking about physical traits or other abilities that can't be taught.
