i never really got this "kishi is a sexiest" thing (he is free to create his fantasy world the way he likes it).
don't like the series as it is, there are many others.
some have all females lead characters (not a single dude that can even fight), others have all male lead characters. take your pick

as for character development, sakura never had the potential (from the beginning) to keep up with the rest of team 7.
naruto has kurama and sasuke has a sharingan. sakura is a medic and she is close to becoming the best medic alive (after she surpasses tsunade). if anyone is focusing on why isn't she as good as them in combat then for the millionth time, she is a MEDIC

Fans: nah shes weaker then Kakashi and Gai, and some other ninja

Theoratically Mei can wreck any living Shinobi except the few greatest or her counter style. But she seemingly does have a lack of backbone.

Sakura:

Kishimoto: She can create a crater that needs Naruto over 50 Rasengans to create, with 1 punch. Her medical skills are near Tsunade. And she can heal 1000+ ninja

Fans: Shes a fodder, not even close to Naruto and Sasuke.

True but even the mere wind pressure created from Gai's 7th Gate Mode punches can create Susanoo shattering or on par with Seal Sakura effects and the poor Gai (Pun intended) is not even remember in most cases.

Plus Yes Sakura is not near Sasuke or Naruto. Deal with it. Naruto protected eveyone durring Tenpanchi (Whatev it was called) and seemingly even Sasuke can survive that like Madara using Susanoo but can Sakura do that? ...... Plus not to forget:

Tsunade & Mei they have only tittle , what have they really done to contribute to the story in a big way like the male characters ? .....not that much , Tsunade is the only one that kinda speaks for a good female character but still is not enough , for example , why dont we have a female villain ? why dont we have an Uchiha girl that actually uses sharingan? what about the uzumaki females ? .......both of them are dead & we only have Karin that hasn't really done anything to the story , Konoha girls ? .........they've been nothing but a burden & Dont say sakura is an example of kishi not being sexist , what he did to her this recent chapters doen't justify what he did 600 & + chapters ....the only one that had potential was Konan to do something bigger after the pain arc & what did kishi do ? ....he kills her .

I doubt Nami and Tashigi are ever going to get anywhere near rest of Strawhats or main characters. Some capabilities were added to keep them aligned with the uber power ups of rest of the characters in the verse but that's it. They are no match with the guys in their teams in powers unless they are filler characters.

Funny as it is most women character represent a stereotypical female in it. And yet since it's funny people ignore "sexism" in it. I don't care and do laugh at those jokes at times but that doesn't make it a non sexist scene.

They may have gained some extra tools and feats(much less than other males in the manga) but actual change and progression in their character, their outlook etc other than a few fighting feet is none.

But overall the NB is not Mature enough to isolate stregth in it many forms anyway ..... Strength does not come for the fist alone, it come's from character, it come from heart, it comes from mind and most importantly it can come from soul. And I'll have you know that this is pretty much the main reason why the Shinobi Alliance are still alive right now ( what Sakura has done post Byakugo, which you wanted me to prove ) and why it is actually feasible for them to be able to defeat the Juubi and win the war.

And with his Tajuu Kage Bunshin he fought and changed the tide of an entire war by himself as well.

That should be enough or more than enough to equalize supportive capabilities, since these capabilities can actually win wars, in a very big way.

But I digress as that wasn't my main point ( so feel free to disregard it ). What I dislike about Sakura's character as I've stated in my first post is that she is poorly developed. She went from being a girl that was just there in Part 1 to a girl that finally gained development at the start of Part 2, only to be pushed aside AGAIN until the Pain arc when she killed the centipede and healed Hinata and then pushed aside ONCE MORE until the War Arc. Whilst her fellow Main Characters have been gaining constant development ever since Part 1, till now.


Her development has been all over the place, Kishi in my opinion could've done a way better job with her character since I personally thought that she had plenty of potential. She had no clan and had barely anything going for her, if Kishi could've built upon that earlier such as during Part 1 she could've been a very good character with a very prominent fanbase and ( probably ) have barely any haters.

I like the manga despite it because of the mythological references and how he uses extensive Japanses/buddhist mythologies and makes one of his own in his own style.
